The Great Khan has borne witness to the great scorn that the rest of the world holds for the proud race of hobgoblins. Rather than challenge them to face the might of his armies, he instead issued forth an order to his subordinates, to prove their worth on the traditional field of battle: Bloodbowl.

Unfortunately, this order got somewhat garbled by his Generals, each one twisting the words, and delegating the task further down the chain of command. This, of course, is the reason why one Lishvuz Dwarfcracker, the commander of a squad of hobgoblins, sent forth his worst, most despicable, untrustworthy recruits off to the pitch, promising them glory-- and a wolf of their own--- if they can just survive a few *measly* seasons.

All they have to do is win a few Cups, prove Hobgoblin Supremacy over all, and return in one piece-- And then, the Great Khan will *personally* reward them.

He sniggered, as they geared up, practicing with the infamously-spiky pigskin. If they get all that done, then-- He'll be the flippin' Queen of Bretonnia. Bunch of lazy lollygaggers. Mentally, he congratulated himself. That's thirteen less wolves he had to loan out, and- Who knows? This could be a cheap, easy way to get rid of any particularly ambitious competitors.
