In the Deep Hall of Marienburg Strongest Fortress, the high King Thorgrim Grudgebearer waked from a disturbing dream who showed him the dark future of the world. In fact the premonitary dream was a vision granted by Grungni the patron god of the dwarf. The sleeping warning involved the cataclysm caused by a chain of event, starting with the winning of a chaos god follower team at a barbarous game named Blood Bowl. Resolute to not let that happen, the king asked to his council to find the best Veteran Fighters and slayers available who had fought during the war of vengeance. His second tough was to get strategy of the game that he intended to get a part in. Pretty simple take a brown ball in the opponent ennemy line. After Several games of practice with Goblins Orcs and Trolls Slaves, the king found a disturbing problem with his team of killing machines, no one was able to carry the ball fast enough, He asked then his consul to bing him all the finest of young fast dwarf and selected the best of them to become runners.
