  1. Also, currently, new teams will get 900+k in Inducements - I strongly recommend 2 Wandering Apo's against the chance of Thrown Rocks*, plus 3-4 RR's, plus 5 cards from the Magic Items deck - anything else is mostly useless.

    (* 8 Kickoffs/game is nothing unusual)

    If you have cash left over, there is 1 Card in the Magic Item deck that could help, esp for a low(er) Ag player**, or you could just take a 'Babe against a KO from a Thrown Rock.

    (** "Gloves of Holding" = Sure Hands + Catch for entire Game.

    Also, "Rabbit's Foot" lasts all game and could help if you run out of RR's (and is played at the start of any Turn), so is not completely worthless. Note that "Lucky Charm" is useless, as Thrown Rocks make no Armour Roll.)


    Lastly, if you have some truly valuable +stat player(s) that you just do not want to risk to a Thrown Rock, you could hire Mercenaries (or a cheap Star player) to help keep them off the field, or add some ballhandling or no-spp passing. Adding the Kick skill to a Merc would be helpful too, but only if you want. Merc's are like Stars - they cannot be hired after a game, and so will steal any SPP they gain.

    The only Star that might be useful would be a +Ag and/or Sure Hands type, who can allow a lower-agility player to move toward the goal and then Hand Off to him, to keep the ball moving in the right direction.


This is a "builder" team, designed to provide guaranteed spp while building league teams in obviously "fixed" League games (originally for the NBFL*). This is legal on FUMBBL ONLY in the [L]eague Division, and only if that team is not being groomed for an open Tourney.

(* The NBFL is a competitive, high-TV, 14-games/regular season league** with 32 teams total, no place for a virgin team, and St 1, AV 5 Stunties present easy opportunities for 3d blocks and multiple casualties. 50+ spp in a game is not unusual (esp v. Ag 4 teams!). Watch a game for a laugh.)

    o Dbls = 1 Kick; Wrestle - to protect other team if they fail block. Frenzy (for extra push!), Grab; 1-2 KO Return, (Sure Hands?), Pro?
