Tamper Bay Baconeers

The Tamper Bay Baconeers joined the NWFL half way through season IX, after an extended brunch that forced them to miss out the initial matches. It had been more than 40 years that Tamper Bay hosted a premier league team: the legendary All-Starved Cowboys, who were abandoned when half the team died from the consequences of a raw bean salad eating competition.
During the official introduction into the league, head coach Gordon Ransack promised to bring the fight and fine food to every challenger. He also emphasized that the Baconeers were honoring Fair Play above everything. They were deeply dedicated to playing by the rules, using common sense and respecting fellow players, referees and opponents. Unless it was beneficial for their gameplay, helped winning a match or facilitated the removal of any opponents from the pitch.
After three not completely successless seasons, the Baconeers went on an extended lunch break and handed their French fries franchise over to the Tamper Bay Bombardiers.
