Tusky Loser is a major goblin settlement in west central Whamma Bamma (in south-eastern Amorica). Located on the Blakk Warrior River, it is the fifth-largest settlement in Whamma Bamma. Founded in 2419, it was named after Tusky Loser, the chieftain of the Musky Green tribe of goblins who battled and was defeated by Hernando de Soto and his Halfling Horde in 2109 (recorded as the shortest war in Amorican history, not for it’s duration but for the average height of the combatants).

Because of its location on the boundary between the Appalin Mountain Highlands and the Southern Swamps, the geography of the area around Tusky Loser is diverse, varying from heavily forested hills in the northeast to a low-lying, marshy swamp to the southwest.

Most of the buildings are huts made from mud and wood which serve as accommodation for the tribe which surround a central shrine to Gork and Mork. The south-west part of Tusky Loser is dominated by the massive Giant Dent Stadium, so named after a crease in the building plans resulted in a construction design that looked like a Giant had kicked the stadium. Crowds regularly arrive at the stadium early on game days to get places closest to ground level at the front as no-one wants to be 100 foot up in the air standing on something built by a goblin.

Tusky Loser is ruled by the Great Gobbo. Not much is known about this mysterious and enigmatic goblin. He seems to have just appeared one day claiming to have had a vision from Gork and Mork themselves, in which he claimed they had given him the knowledge to become a Blood Bowl coaching genius, and despite displaying the signs of repeated hallucinogenic toad abuse he managed to rally many goblins to his cause by declaring that he would form a Blood Bowl team and only play goblin linemen, to prove to the rest of the Amorica just how good goblins could be. The existing chieftain was evicted from office with a knife and placed on gardening leave indefinitely (rumours that he was killed and buried in his own back garden are strongly denied by the Great Gobbo).

The main rivalry of the Green Tide is against its local rival, Ow Burna. The rivalry is considered to be one of the most intense and hard-fought rivalries in all of sports. The Tide - Ow Burna game has come to be known as the Brag Bowl because the outcome of the game generally determines "bragging rights" in Whamma Bamma until the following contest.

The first ever game between the two teams ended in a 2-0 victory for the Tide.
