Chieftain:
Tófi Oakenhawk of Thjazi

Head Coach:
TMoila

Race:
Slann Explorers

Team Colours:
Green and metal grey
Winter Sammakko
A team defined more by the players than the crazed chieftain from remote Thjazi mountain village: an academic and methodical party of explorers from slann occupied Lustria who just happen to need riches to fund their quest to return to the stars.

But how did Tófi Oakenhawk of Thjazi come up with the idea to hire a bunch of weird talking frogs? Story tells that after doing some trade with merchant from Skeggi he was introduced to the slann exploring party, called the Winter Sammakko, who were looking at some ancient portal that could get them home. Even though not really understanding what the slann meant by home, Tófi decided to help them in their quest and organize a base of operations for them.

Years passed and explorers of Winter Sammakko kept coming back from expeditions. Their spirit didn't waver even though they muttered about "broken warp" and "portal leading into maw". However this autumn things changed: the Slann were broke.

Mage priest Chichi of the Smoking Caverns of Sotek came up with a brutal idea of how the Slann could fund their research: their adeptness in ancient technology and youthful bodies were perfect addition to Norscan Blood Bowl scene. Tófi was indeed a avid fan of various Blood Bowl Leagues but had never considered founding a team of his own - until now. And it just so happened that a Norscan Survivalists League was about to kick off...
Season 1

Winter Sammakko is placed on the Sea of Claws division, naturally due to Thjazi mountains located near the Sea of Claws.

First match Winter Sammakko faces fierce high elf thralls. After exchange of blows team realizes additional maintenance is required to keep players in good working order. Kroxigor gets additional checkup and tech wizards try to fix Tehetza's broken implants - to no success.

Money gathered: +70 000 (total 70 000)

Second match is far smoother when the small folk of halflings are designated as our next opponents. While kicking we are lacking some accuracy and we just might have to invest into some auto-aiming spells and tech. Our catchers got to play around with their exoskeleton settings - working fine it seems.

Money gathered: +70 000 (total 140 000)
Investments: 1 set of equipment for one player: -60 000, 1 surgical kit for medical needs: -50 000
(total at 30 000)

Third match was filled with rain and tears of Nuffle. Rain corroded our equipment and caused malfunctions, target aquisition was working and all, but general performance was adversely affected. Astonishing ball play from the Sauruses on the last turn sealed a fought draw with lots of lizard parts left on the field.

Money gathered: +40 000 (total 70 000)

Fourth match was somehow garbled by Cabal Vision and hence replay-function is not operational for full debriefing analysis. Sufficient to say, result was very hard fought draw for both teams, with cutting edge ending.

Money gathered: +60 000 (total 130 000)

Fifth match was a spectacle of blood as the Khornish humans tried to do everything to silcence the expedition from speaking out loud for the warp portal. They managed to kill two of us, but at least we managed to keep the prize money with us.

Money gathered: +60 000 (total 190 000)

We finished third in the group and didn't lose a game whole season.

Season 2

For the second season team is assigned to the Frozen Sea division for new challenges.

First match saw the first defeat of Winter Sammakko, 1-2. Some of the players started hibernating in the cold of Norscan winter and had to be defrosted so they were a bit stiff. Mental note: More winter clothes for frogkin.

Money gathered: +30 000 (total 220 000)

Second match shed some light in the grim early season, as we took convincing 2-0 win against Nurgle. With only minor investment and major result, we filled our bank and decided to invest further into the team by getting new catcher-gear for one over-enthusiastic scientist.

Money gathered: +80 000
Invested in the training of new catcher: -80 000
(total 220 000)

Third match we faced off with some ogres with ogreshortage. Lots of snotlings were slain and with them the crowd and stadium owner gave us some extra cash to play with. Also record-breaking 5-0 win in this Norscan league.

Money gathered: +70 000 (total 290 000)

In the Fourth match some elves gave us hard time to go into the final match, as they put three of our players into sick leave. 0-1

Money gathered: +20 000 (total 310 000)

Fifth match and the final of the group of season 2 - we won 2-0 with the home crew of Norsca jeering at us when we stopped the Norse offense to their side of the pitch.

Money gathered: +60 000 (total 370 000)

Season 2 we were second in the group and very hungry to win next season. Because monetarily, we could use the extra two games.

Season 3

Match 1: +20 000 (390 000)
Match 2: +70 000 (460 000)
Match 3: +50 000 (510 000)
Match 4: +70 000 (580 000)
Match 5: +70 000 (650 000)
Semi-finals: +80 000, -120 000 (610 000)
Finals: +30 000 (640 000)
