Grue was fouled and failed to regenerate after forcing several retirements, permanent and otherwise, on Rising Yamadori.

The Eternal Epidemic began when a young Nurgling sat on Father Nurgle and tripped into his cauldron. As the Nurgling attempted to drink, Father Nurgle hoisted him out and hurled him into the Chaos wastes, where it promptly exploded, becoming a semi-sentient plague cloud. It now wanders the globe, infecting all it can, and those that manage to survive the horror it brings join the Eternal Epidemic, spreading it further.
