As the leaders of Karond Kar looked upon the vanishing sails of The Black Phoenix dipping over the horizon with their best slaves, they discussed among themselves as to what their next step would be...
The Black Phoenix had come into port and put on a grand performance. The lovely ladies that manned her made a great show of not being strong enough to unload their ship. They pranced around in their finest garments and shrieking if they became dirty or ripped in any way. They made sure that everyone who looked upon them(and that was everyone) saw the weak and feeble creatures that they wanted to portray.
When they informed the slave yard's leaders that they would need a more manly crew, the slavers knew they had a quick sale for a big profit. However, when the she-devils made it known that they didn't have the coin to buy them and offered to make a deal, the poor slobs couldn't help but take pity on them.
The deal was a pretty simple one. The crew would put up their best women against the best the slave traders had in a one off match of Blood Bowl. Should the crew somehow come out ahead, then they would get to take their pick of the slaves. Should they lose, the traders could take their pick of the beautiful women.
The match was never close.
In the end, the Black Phoenix Ravagers had made themselves known again. They made off with the port's best slaves and put a good number of the lesser ones in their watery graves.
Knowing a good idea when they see one, the port of Karond Kar put together a vessel of their own to go out and repopulate their slave stock. As they travel the Old World and gather slaves, they will pit their skills against other teams in order to better themselves. When the time comes and fate decrees it, the Ravagers will find they have made an enemy...
Thus, the Karond Kar Hell Ship was formed.
