Roster [B] Halfling

Bogget Bottom Bakers are purveyors of some of the tastiest snack foods in all of Ryedale, they list among their many customers not only the Pemberton-Fitzroy family and the Shire-reeve of Seacroft but many noble and wealthy families from the Vale of Eorfwick.

In an attempt to spread their brand the Bakers decided to make up small packed lunches and sell them around the local town squares, faires and stadia hoping visitors would taste their baked wonders and spread the word of these delicious delicacies when they returned to their home towns. The lunchboxes were very popular, especially with the local Halfling diaspora who would pay almost any price, or undertake any act to get one of the packed meals.

One day the Master Baker himself brought a wagon load of lunchboxes to the Ryedale stadium where the crowd eagerly bought the majority of his stock and were happily filling their bellies as they awaited the local heros, the Ryedale Redkites, facing a bunch of criminals named the Bogget Hill Bandits in a rescheduled exhibition match. However, things started to turn ugly when it was announced that the Redkites would not be playing due to the team being quarantined after exposure to Nurgle's Rot in their last match.

The Master Baker was horrified to see the crowd start to hurl his finest patisseries in anger rather than eat them and acted quickly, rounding up a baker's dozen 'flings and offering them each a complimentary lunch box if they would take the field in the place of the Redkite team. All thirteen stunties immediately agreed and took to the field. The crowd quickly settled down scoffing their food stuffs as they watched the ensuing carnage.

To this day the halflings of the Lunchboxers team are all paid with a complementary luncheon from the Boggart Bottom Bakery, at least those that survive the matches are.
