Originally formed as a touring male stripper group made up of unemployed workers from the Norse city of Sheef the 'Sheef Field-Rabbits' found brief fame when their story was retold in a Cabal-vision late night special.

The popularity gained by their Old World wide 'exposure' garnered them several bookings for half time entertainment and private after match shows, usually at the insistence of stadium owners' wives.

However, as with many stories in show business their fame, bookings and money soon ran out after a rival troupe of strippers composed of half ogres called 'The Bigger Things' arrived and immediately eclipsed the Rabbits in popularity.

The Rabbits found themselves penniless with only a couple of quick release loincloths to their names, miles from home and with no marketable skills beyond waving their tackle around to 'You Can Keep Your Helmet On'.

They funded their long journey back to Norska by dancing in towns and villages for a meal and a bed for the night, something the local housewives were more than happy to supply. However, a wrong turning after leaving the town of Seacroft in Ryedale led the troupe to a mysterious cave in the foothills of the World's Edge Mountains guarded by a beast of legendary ferocity with a 'mean streak a mile wide'.

(The role of local Warpstone experimenter Gerald Pemberton-Fitzroy in the creation of the beast has never been conclusively proven but many think its first appearance after the burning of Bogget Hill Hall proves it was one of his dark menagerie that escaped the destruction of his laboratories.)

The Rabid creature attacked biting several of the Norsemen in inconvenient places, apparently mistaking them for passing bunches of root vegetables. A few of the group succumbed to their injuries but those that survived were changed forever. Infected by the wererabbit's curse several members of the group changed into frenzied monsters.

With several of their top strippers now unable to dance (or look at a plate of carrots) without descending into a spittle frothing frenzy the Rabbits were forced to find other means of employment. Their attempt at becoming mercenaries was short lived when their first prospective employer asked them to get their swords ready for inspection which apparently didn't mean the same as in their previous line of work and labouring in the local fields was a disaster, in some villages they are still filling in the burrows left behind. The only skill they still had was 'entertaining' the ladies (a trait that the original dancers and buck rabbits both have) which led to a spike in the local population and the Rabbits being barred from entering most towns by the local husbands.

In desperation the Rabbits, re-branded as the Rabbid Rablitz, entered a local Blood Bowl tourney. Expecting to be defeated they were surprised to win several of their games against local opponents such as The Plague-Pit Pitifuls, The Runtz of Gork and The Six Feet Underdogs.

The Rabbitz are now touring the Blood Bowl stadiums of the world again, just this time they are wearing marginally more clothes.
