The Gorkas City Chieftans are a professional Blood Bowl team based in Gorkas City, Misery.

2463:

In 2463 Warboss Da Unt began discussions with other orc chieftans in an attempt to establish a professional Blood Bowl team. Unt's desire to secure a football team had been heightened after watching the 2458 Championship Game between the Karak Urbaz Giants and the Baltic Moor Neck Bolts. The tribal chiefs turned him down, so Unt then declared war on them. After a brief but bloody campaign he had conquered every tribe in the area and by recruiting the biggest and toughest survivors he was able to establish his own team, the Gorkas City Chieftans, to begin play in 2464.

DID YOU KNOW?

The team name came from the fact that prior to the 2464 season when they were able to “acquire” some proper footballs, the Chieftans had been using the severed heads of the previous tribal leaders to practice with.
