Owner: Dumnorix Daemonsbane Head Coach: CrookfangRob Race: Slayer Team Colours: Green Celts of the Hill Dumnorix the slayer, killer of daemons, hung up his axes on a long and bloody career to the outright disappointment of his retinue of aspiring slayers. Glorious death in mortal combat had eluded him and there were no bigger foes to face. His followers refused to accept this and so Dumnorix devised a plan to drive them into more blood and mayhem while keeping himself out of it; he would form a Blood Bowl team. Drawing together the other slayers of the Celtoi tribes living in and around Albion, Duminorix forged his Blood Bowl team in his own image; uncompromising, brutal and head-buttingly direct. Records King of the Hill - Season 1 The Pack: The team's first game was a heavy defeat to the Zandri Water Music , before consecutive victories vs Kings of the Down Under and a team-retiring win against Mordheim Valkyries gave the coach the confidence to challenge Water Music to a rematch. A comprehensive victory victory moved the team up to Aspirant. King of the Hill - Season 2 The Pack: The Celts issued 2 successive challenges to Aspirants, both resulting in defeats. The worst of which was 3-0 demolition by the vampires of [SL]am The Tombstone. The season ended in the Pack. King of the Hill - Season 3 The Pack: The first match saw the Celts take on a whole forest in the form of Trees Company. Boudicca and Ambiorix both tested themselves against the mighty Treemen, with mixed results. Match drawn. The next game was against the ferocious daemons of the ⫷⫷Legion of Khorne⫸⫸, and the Celts ran out victors to take an Aspirant spot! Next they faced Dirty grotty Hijinks for the first time and despite decimating the Gnoblars, were outwitted by Da Brat Pack who scored twice leading to a 2-0 loss. The Celts will not forget... A challenge was accepted from the Bonob'orcs who outmuscled and outplayed the Celts for a 3-0 win. The Celts drop back into the Pack... King of the Hill - Season 6 The Pack: The Celts return to KoTH and started in the Pack with a bloody draw vs Rerolled. Next followed a 1-0 victory vs the Old Word Saints to take an Aspirant spot. Next the Celts foolishly issued a challenge to Beautiful People and were humbled 3-0. Beautiful People move up to Contender but the Celts retain their Aspirant spot... Next a challenge was accepted from Bright Spark, which resulted in another 1-1 tie , and was quickly followed by another challenge from another bunch of nuns, which also resulted in a 1-1 tie where Vercingetorix took advantage of Ambiorox and Boudicca being removed from the pitch to take a hat trick (of Badly Hurts). Celts remain Aspirant for now. |
