He was raised by his mother, a single parent, who currently works for the Reikland government and has a master's degree in Applied Warfare Applications. His father was absent prior to his birth.

At 16 he started lifting weights. It is believed that at around that age he became interested in Bloodbowl. He worked as a male exotic dancer, bounty hunter, and warhorse driver between the ages of 18 and 23.

He got his start in Bloodbowl by simply getting the contact info from a then prominent coach Rhandi Detroyt. It was at the 2506 Bloodbowl convention where he met owner/coach Ronn Hightower and female Bloodbowl players Juaneta Chongg, who on sight recommended that he begin a career in Bloodbowl.

Before entering Bloodbowl, Boi was a boxer. His name comes from a boxing nickname, "Troy the Terrible."

Controversy came when T.T. Boi was involved in a high profile game rigging case. He convinced his friend Darrin Janes to go to Averheim and throw some games. An opposing team gave Janes nurgle's rot and he returned to Archland, to play Bloodbowl another two weeks in the Empire League there, passing on the infection to two other players. The Empire League suffered a public relations shock and Bloodbowl stopped in all leagues for 14 days. As a result, Boi's reputation was damaged. Many in the Bloodbowl leagues claim he had been reckless in his disregard of teams and players alike.

Pete North is known by many as the "Loaded Gun", legend of the Old Averheim Bloodbowl League because of his ability to throw the ball anywhere on the field. He is also known for his large biceps and amounts of tobacco chewed, and for his powerful blocks. He has averaged 11-13 blocks per game since the start of his career in the Old Averheim Bloodbowl League two decades ago. North has played in over 120 Old Averheim Bloodbowl League games.

Female players like Genna Jamesin and Heathur Hunterr confirm his volume of tobacco to be real, with no trickery involved. Pete North has stated that his tobacco chewed has always been of a high volume and that he didn't know it was above the norm until he began his career on in the FUMBBL.

Jeremy had his nickname "Da Hedgehog" bestowed upon him by dwarf Bihl Nargold after an incident on the World's Edge Mountains in 2498. Jeremy had been teleported in from Middenheim to trade with the Dwarfs, and had dressed in a T-shirt and shorts, expecting warm weather and thinking he was going to the desert. But the weather in the mountains was blizzard conditions, which chilled him to the point of hypothermia. Upon arriving at back home, Jeremy was immediately whisked away to warm up in a hot bath. When he had finished, his skin had taken on a pink hue from the temperature extremes, and the hairs on his body were standing on end. Nargold's comment upon seeing Jeremy after the shower was, "You are a hedgehog, my friend. A walking, talking hedgehog". Contrary to popular belief, the nickname had nothing to do with Jeremy's (subsequent) weight gain, as he was quite physically fit at the time.
