Biography

Baruk is a faithful priest of the Great Smith and Maker, yet particular of his actions and views were not endorsed by his temple superiors. His biggest "sin" was the love for Blood Bowl and his admiration of the Agility Monsters. When he was once more on his way to the stadium, the highest priest confronted him and gave him an ultimatum to make him choose between his sacred duty and the sport. That evening, Baruk did not return from the stadium.

It turns out Baruk doesn't like undead (well, isn't that true for all priests?), or zombies in particular: In his 10th game, he seriously injured a zombie and badly hurt another. Both were not able to recover from his hits with regeneration.

In his 49th game a goblin stole the ball out of his tacklezone. Baruk went after him and stole the ball right from his hands as the little green guy desperately tried to pass it down-field. One game later, against the Hellbound Charioteers, Baruk did almost the same trick against a Norse runner trying to secure the ball by tossing it away... After that he got known as Baruk "Pass Block" Faithchanger and his old nickname ("Sinful") was soon forgotten.

In his 58th game he leaped away from a longbeard ready to dive in and tackle him, using this technique for the first time to actually score.

In his 60th game he got almost killed by a highly skilled halfling kicker - but apothecary Silverstaff patched him up so that he only had to miss out one match to heal some broken ribs. The ref did spot the foul and banned the halfling for the rest of the game.

His 91st game - on the Monsters' 6th anniversary - saw him leaping five times, three times he succeeded. Twice he managed to bring down exceptional ball carrier "Licking" Larry, who had only just become a legend. The first time, Larry got badly hurt, but the team apothecary patched him up again. The second time however, Baruk crushed down on him lethally - death from above. Probably the first occurence of such a kill in the history of FUMBBL.

Only one game later he himself got his knee smashed by a crazy Dollhouse elf.

His 102nd game, the last of seven other Agility Monsters, he was fouled badly in the early game, suffering a serious concussion (-av) and therefor unable to support his comrades during this memorable game.

Biography

Nogli stems from a family of cameo cutters. When his grandfather lost an eye, he himself created a replacement from jasper, as only this gem was able to resemble his rather unique eye color and provide the texture to make it look relatively real. "Jasper-Eye" thereby became an honorable name. When old Jasper-Eye began to lose his faculties, he passed the name on to his grandchild, along with the eye. Nogli, enjoying two healthy and very keen eyes, embedded the gem into an amulet that he now carries as his lucky charm.

He originally became part of the Monsters' staff as a psychological consultant. His even temper, decent kindness and deep insight into dwarven heart and mind quickly earned him the nickname "The Sage". After a little while however, it turned out that he has a real talent for ball-handling. Some practice with the team and he joined it on the pitch in their 198th game for the first time.

His second skill roll was the 154th for the team - and only the second that led to +AG.

After only 31 games Nogli becomes the 6th Agility Monsters to get past 100 SPP - and none of the others had been this fast.

In the first round of FUMBBL Cup XIII he scores the Monsters first touchdown and secures the win through a perfectly accurate long pass to Rila in overtime.

After 55 games he achieves legend hood and learns to Dump-Off the ball - with a new personal record of earning 8 SPP in one match (not much for an outstanding player like him, but he's always been a support player until that point).

In his 61st game he reaches 200 SPP as the second Agility Monster ever - by throwing his 96th completion.

Almost got killed in game 260 (his 6rd), but Doc Silverstaff did his work flawlessly.

"He may be half as agile and half as fast as an elf.
But when it comes to skill, he's at least half an elf!"

- Alion, Defensive Coordinator

Biography

Proud last active member of the Agility Monsters' first squad.

In his 119th match he looked pretty dead after a mighty ogre blow, but the team apothecary managed to reduce the damage to a short resting period, making him miss only the next match. Similar happened four matches later, where the apothecary was able to treat the almost dead Brumbas to an extend that the blocker suffered no lasting damage but a niggling knee. Another six matches later, in the 129th game of his career, it looked like he had died on an attempt to GFI and blitz down the opposing ball carrier. However, just as he had been dragged off the field and examined by the team apothecary, he jumped up and told he'd be ready for the next kick-off!

After he had missed his team's game #146, he showed up fully healed of all old injuries and scars. A miracle?

In his team's 166th match he entered the pitch for the 150th time and got some Newsflash coverage for it.

In such a long career, Brumbas has escaped death many times. In game 159 he was almost blocked to death by a wrestling vampire thrall... but Apothecary Silverstaff saved him once again, making him able to play again at the next kickoff.

In the 200th Monsters game (his 184th) he feigned a KO early in the first half, vanishing into the ranks, celebrating with the fans while watching his team elfball. He wasn't seen until later that night, when he joined his teammates to party.

He reached 150 SPP in his 195th game.

In the team's 237th game (his 221st), Tymless' 5000th FUMBBL jubilee, Brumbas killed almost legendary stat freak catcher slim when he was trying to sneak past the Monsters' defenses with the ball.

After 242 games, he finally reached formal legendhood by completing two passes in the team's 257th game.
