Cesare Borgia, called "il Valentino" as he was from Valencia, shows in play the same determination and cunning mind he had in life. Nothing will stop him from playing for the win, not even sacrificing himself or most of his teammates: we expected nothing less from someone who killed his brother in his human life!

Being the indisputed team leader, his power comes with great responsibilities: during the best performance on tournaments from Principi, it was the missing of Cesare in the semi-final to determine their defeat. But he swore he'll bring his team to conquer a title one day, and he's pursuing the feat actively, only death being a possible (temporary) obstacle.

Giovanni, proud creator and commander of the "Bande Nere", a mercenary militia, was famous for his undisputed excellence in guerrilla warfare, and he brought his art to the Blood Bowl pitch: fast attacks and agile maneuvering left thousands of enemies clueless, hearing the roars of the fans for the counterscoring even before realizing they lost the ball. The motto written on his sword, "Non mi snudare senza ragione. Non mi impugnare senza valore" [1] applies to his skills too: however uncomprehensible his playing may seem, he's always planning something, and his opponents know it...

Celebrated in life as a great man of arms and gentleman, nowaday Maramaldo is remembered mostly for his killing of Francesco Ferrucci, who had been grievously wounded and taken prisoner, against the old principles of chivalrous conduct in wartime.
His name is sinonymous with taking advantage of the weaker, and this is exactly what the coach expects from him, preying on poor mortals and obnoxious beasts on the Blood Bowl pitch!

Andrea Fortebraccio, this his real name (meaning Strongarm), was true to his name: a strong and valiant condottiero, lately gaining many political charges from his successes. His determination and temper almost allowed him to create an unifying state for all central Italy, despite the many reigns those lands were divided into during his times.
As a Blood Bowl player and a vampire prince, he uses his strenght and charisma to lead his teammates and watch over them, being a fundamental pillar for his team defence: he rarely performs himself the ballstealing wonders of his colleagues, preferring a role as supporter and coordinator.

Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta, popularly known as the Wolf of Rimini, was an Italian condottiero and nobleman. He was widely considered by his contemporaries as one of the most daring military leaders, ingeniously defending his little realm from greater forces. Dark rumours were spread about the suspicious deaths of two of his wifes, and no religious sign was put in his mausoleum, Sigismondo being excommunicated at the time of its building. In the end he couldn't save his little realm, but such was his great taste in arts and the beauty of the works of art he promoted that he was called "the greatest loser in history": now the Wolf is back, haunting the Blood Bowl pitch to revenge old and new enemies...

Guidoriccio, a noble man from the da Fogliano family, was a skilled troop captain fighting for the city of Siena. So great were his successes, that he started to be feared for his popularity and power, and was banned from the city on the pretext of violating some deals. His skils didn't pass unobserved and he was lately hired by many different cities, but never raised again so high in reputation as he was before.
So he runs the pitch, seraching for revenge for the betrayal he suffered in life, making him a relentless hunter whenever he finds a suitable prey.
