Hello,

When trying to set up a game this afternoon, the client failed: unable to launch the application. Error in opening zip file.

Any idea what is causing this and how to solve it?

Eventually I used another computer, just to have the scheduled game played, but I still didn't find a solution for my first computer...

It shouldn’t be in a zip file, a java file is the norm

Well I think it has to do something with the downloading process, I will try and reinstall browser + java if that helps and clear cookies. If you have zip to file program that can help you for the mean time

If you are on a Mac, using Safari, go to the preferences and uncheck the box that says "automatically open known file type" (or something along these lines)
If you are not in that config, just ignore me... Smile
