Witchington Paleskins

A playoff contender, but will need some surprises to be a playoff team.

These Dark Elves are balanced, but another first season squad in a league of super-teams. I think they'll be in every game but find that the NFC North a bit tougher to steal wins than the AFC East. They're missing that amazing player and I think there a team to watch in season 24. That said they if they can absolutely take down the Egos and beat the other teams in the East. If they win those games the division crown could be theirs.

Phull-o-s'elfia Egos

The only "old team" in the east is only in season 2.

They are very similar to the Paleskins, and they should be fighting for the division. Elf BS will keep them in every game. I think they'll only need a tie vs the dark elves to claim the division. A great thrower and one turn catcher will help them turn loses into ties and ties into wins, but they'll need to keep bodies on the roster and the field to keep up with the teams from the North if they have to look to the wild card for the playoffs.

Week 8 recap

Quandary Diggs didn't want to risk his precious boot foot against what appeared to be spiked Dwarf armor. He instead told the stunties the game was moved to Miami. They went there and when the ref's showed up they awarded the game to Destroit.

Week 10 recap

Chicago

Destroit kicked off and put up a good fight. Blane Gabbart managing to get the ball free and pick it up. He was unfortunately unable to keep it, but did force a score that left enough time for the Lynels to answer before the half.
What should have been an easy pass and catch scattered wide as time expired.

Destroit got a bit sloppy trying to force enough Provocateurs off the field to go for the win, and almost cost themselves the tie. Luckily, Big Ben proved hard to bring down and harder to pin down.

A tie is an acceptable outcome, but means Destriot really needs to win out to have a shot at the wildcard.

Week 11 Recap

Phull-o-s'elfia Egos

Quandary Diggs for MVP

an 11 foul, 4 cas performance from the star booter, including one from an honest block! It was a a game where Destroit was in desperate need of a win against the 1 loss egos, and Diggs dug deep and delivered the man advantage.

A long grinding drive for Destroit put them up 1-0 at the half. As elves left the field in the 2nd the Egos were forced into a quick score. Destroit was able to easily grind down for another score as time expired.

Week 12 Recap

New York Genocides

Khorn!!!

What was supposed to be a bashing good time with blood for the blood god, turned into a pillow fight. No one wanted to hurt the team from the other division.

The Genocides kicked to the Lynels and started with the perfect defensive strategy. Qunadary diggs (MVP candidate) puts the boot to Bloodthrister Lawrence Terror knocking him out for most of the first half. Diggs followed up with 2 more kos and the Lynels took an easy stroll down the field to score late with only 5 Genocides on the pitch.

The Genocide coach was busy on the bench and woke up all the kos and sent them back in for the 2nd half. They opened with two removals of their own. After a little back and forth Speilman continues the Lynel tradition of hurting themselves on a big guy even with plenty of help. Down 10 men to 8 the Lynels managed to pop the ball and make it tough, but the Genocides evened it up to end the half.

A hard fought 1-1 tie. This might be the one that keeps the Lynels out of the playoffs.

Week 13 Recap

Witchington Paleskins A must win game for both teams

The Lynels were not in playoff form. The Ref wanted none of the shenanigans despite the rumors of 3 large payments to his bank account, and all and all they got outplayed by the dark elves.

Quandary got in four fouls before being ejected, and the Lynels let the pointy ears get away with a full team.

The elves should have won this one, but Destroit sneaks away with a miracle 2-1 win.
