After updating my MAC OS to Mojave the Client changed font. Is this something other have experienced and/or does anyone know if there is a fix?
As you can see its somewhat disturbing and markings on players are really difficult to read. |

could it perhaps be that I lack the font and therefore a substitute takes its place? In that case do any of you know which the original font could be? |

It seems like anti-aliasing is turned off for java applications. |

Okay I managed to fix this...
It seems Mojave disables font smoothing by default so you can enable this by running the following command in a terminal window:
defaults write -g CGFontRenderingFontSmoothingDisabled -bool FALSE
I found this article that explains:
https://ahmadawais.com/fix-macos-mojave-font-rendering-issue/
Much better! I hope this helps. |

Sadly it seems that Catalina has recreated this issue and the above command doesn't fix
Anyone a bit more mac knowledgable please do let me know if you have any ideas. Sadly my googling has turned nothing up. |

According to the interwebs you can try to revert the above command as it seems this now causes the issue on Catalina
defaults write -g CGFontRenderingFontSmoothingDisabled -bool YES
Disclaimer: Have not tried it myself, so if your computer melts, it is on you :-p |
