I agree with Mekutata. The auto-resize ones are interesting to see as a comparison, but the best you could say is that they're 'recognisable', while the new hand crafted ones look great. |

If you want to go the auto-resized ones, it would be a just a couple of minutes in photoshop once you have all the images collected in a folder. just create an action and batch the whole lot.
this was done quickly with a scale and a sharpen as an action.

I noticed everyone doing eldril, so I did eldril.
pixel art.
auto-scaled.
Image approval, etc. It's not a super quick process, but it's not bad when I've not much on, and the results are consistent and should improve the game a bit for most folk, one day, so yay.
Stars are a bit quicker too, as we don't need the variants for them. Also, slowly building up more pieces to copy from, which is nice, and should speed us along a bit as things progress. |

Pro Tip: If rescaling pixel art in Photoshop always make sure to change Interpolation settings (to Pixelwiederholung in German PS, Nearest Neighbor hard edges in English PS) or you will get blurry results like in your example.
Then you can kinda resize nicely pixels in even dimensions.
But that won't help with what Christer currently plans to do with the graphic update.
The problem though is that Christer plans a resolution where you can't |

One of the more common complaints of newcomers to FUMBBL is "why is the window so small, can you scale it up?"
The current graphics fit very nicely on my cheap 1366x768 laptop screen, but a lot more people run 1920x1080. And streaming works better on this higher resolution.
So the next project is to scale things up.
Other features in the end goal of this project include:
- customization of players
- ability to recolour (home, away, hair, skin...).
- mutations!
Here is what me and tussock have put together so far (mostly tussock):
Current: 30x30 pixel squares
New: 45x45 pixel squares
As for customisation options. If a lowly goat has options for:
8 horns varieties
2 head options
2 left shoulder pads
2 right shoulder pads
3 left arms
4 right arms
2 torsos
4 fur colours
3 skin colours
then that's 18,432 different goat combinations available, before we even consider the rainbow of Home colour options.
It would be great to get more people involved in this project. If you have an urge to contribute your artistic talents, please pop into discord:

is this being supported by Christer? Is that the 4k grass pitch I designed?
cheers |

That is your 4k pitches, Garion, aye, leaning on many of the things done up from your own good work on these things, Christer's on board and has given us a good bit of direction along the way, from my first thoughts on the matter last Nov/Dec approximately.
Not to mention the huge history of the icons themselves that I'm really just painting over the top of here. You know this line started at 20px base size for the old client, way before my time.
Pop in the discord and say hi, we'd love the original files for those pitches! |

Two races finished*
- oops. Looks like the forums squish things to fit them in. I didn't trim the picture enough. Have a look HERE for the (hopefully) unsquished version of the 45x45px squares.
* ok we haven't done the goblins yet |

Looks odd with the logos on top of the âž•ï¸ markings
But that aside it looks much better.
You got the snow and rain pitch I did too? Plus the black box versions?
Edit: wait... is that the ball I made too? |

Yes, we have all your wonderful pitches. It would be great if you could find versions where the markings are separate layers.
The ball was a quick resize of your ball just before posting. |

Ah okay. I think I uploaded an svg version of a spiked and non spiked ball before I went away. So they should be on my computer too if you don't have them.
Also yes I'll send over the pitches without the markings on and the markings as a separate layer at some point...
I think I had dome other 4k pitches finished too. I'll have to double check but pretty sure I updated khemri and nurgle pitches |
