Anyway to avoid playing games vs the same race when other races are in the box? Don't get me wrong I love the feeling of rubbing bleach into my eyes for a hour,but the DR says it's bad for my health |

I really like blackbox to be back again. It quite fantastic. Gives me a good feeling of the good old days.
Only thing is : I usually play 1 team and 1 only. It grows and falls as games go on. But lately, it is rarely selected. Its current rating is : High Elf 1670k (±750) (~20 games under their belt). Is it :
There is not much teams at that TV range ?
I could cut some players beforehand to get elected more often
I hope the seasons get implemented
I usually see only newish teams selectioned
There is not enough coachs ?
Would be solvable changing my playing hours.
I'm under the feeling that some coachs are coming back, and active coachs base is growing.
Sorry for zooming on my point on view.

i have the same problem with my 1855 tv team. there are simply very few coaches playing teams above 1300 or 1400 tv. |

I guess the main issue is the overall TV way lower than in the old Box.
Now the Box requires only 2 coaches (unlike the old Box), so the number of coaches should be enough to find a game.
Unless you want to self-trim your team or make other teams, I guess you will have to wait for Season Re-Draft. |

The "good old days" are not coming back.
These are new days.
Cut your team to 1350 after every 15 games. |

Well, without Season Re-Draft it seems to be in LRB4, where Guardmb spam AV 9 teams were super common.
So, it's a bit like being in LRB4 old days.  |

New days look good times.
Now only thing we need is not to get new teams paired against teams with over 15 games and all is good. |

All your teams are on 2016 rules, the new matchmaker/Blackbox will only find 2020 ruleset teams.

As others said, create a new team in Competitive division:

Competitive division uses both the GF and the Black Box scheduler to find games (there is no more the separation between Ranked and Box divisions).
Black Box doesn't require anymore 4 coaches for a draw, just 2 (at least, for now).
The new GF (although it has been running for a while now) is here: https://fumbbl.com/p/lfg2
Use it to look for games.
Eventually, the old Black Box and Ranked teams will migrate to the Competitive division (they will be "cloned" there with the same names), but there is no extimated date, so better you create new teams in Competitive division.
Season Re-Draft has not been implemented yet. It will be 15-game long with 1350k Re-Draft budget.
Box Trophy is running, maybe you could like it:
