If it isn't possible to add this as an automated standard welcome message when coaches sign up, I can keep the code up to date here and when people play a new coach they can PM them with it perhaps? Automated would be much better though if it's possible. |

It may also be worth adding links to the most commonly debated topics with something saying
'we find many coaches come across similar issues early in their Fumbbl careers and understandably start threads in the forums on what to them are hot topics but which the rest of the community has long debated. Of course you may have particular points you still want to raise but it may be a good idea to familiarise yourself with what others have already said first.'
e.g.
a link to the clawpomb thread
a link to the stalling thread
a link to the thread on whether one should time someone out
a link to the thread on turn 16 fouling.
I imagine most coaches come across these issues at some point in their first few months and feel that they've just found something critical that nobody else has thought of (I'm sure I made that mistake). It might be a nice way to help everyone help themselves.
The downside of course is that it draws attention to some of the more divisive topics. |

Good job! I think in addition to the Newbie thread (or maybe instead of it) the most excellent TAOUCH! OF BLOOD BOWL!!! should be linked. I know it can be foud via the HELP section but it's somewhat hidden and it's a really great guide for beginners. |

Keep the suggestions coming, lots of good things here. At worst it could be used when you encounter newer coaches, although I really hope someone on the admins would both be willing and able to use it as an automated version when people sign up, and take the time to set it up. The coding is all done though |
