Is there any policy against players that only stay when they are winning and conceding when they are losing.

I saw a player doing this twice in a row. That is no sport for the opponent. Be a man and stick to your game!!!

Yes the site rules are quite specific.

'Concessions
Concessions are to be made only when there is merit for them.
In this context, merit means that the conceding team needs a reasonable in-game reason for conceding. The team taking excessive casualties is one acceptable reason to concede. Other reasons include having a very distinct lack of players left to play with, or being clearly outplayed in terms of touchdowns.
Conceding when none of the above circumstances are fulfilled will require admin approval.
If you are unsure if your particular game qualifies for a concession, please consult the FUMBBL administration for a ruling.
A match where the administration rules that a concession is acceptable, even though it does not fulfil the policy stated here will have its match report page marked to reflect this.'

I personally have encountered very few conceding opponents so have never actually seen this enforced. I would advise checking with an admin.

yes there is:
https://fumbbl.com/help:DiscProb
It relies on the other player reporting and then the admins get to work. Repeated offence lead to warnings and bans.

Of course it could have been a dodgy connection....

It was no disconnection. It was two times an admitted conceding when he was on a tie and on a 1TD down.

If a dwarf coach feels that he has two players out, is that enough reason to find he is taking excessive casualties. I don't think so.

Two times deliberate. No fun for opponent. Only staying for games you can win, and harvest spp.

It was not against me, btw.

I probably cannot put him on a personal black list because I don't want to play quitters.

I am playing him (magictobe) now and he told me who it was and (without having specced it) it looks worthy of investigation

At least he conceded.
My quitter left the game without conceding, never to resume it again.

Have you told an admin about it Matt? Or possibly you could hijack a couple of forum threads and tell us about it?

To the OP; very simple, send a ticket if you dont like it. That forces an admin to review it.

Yes, I did. No need to hijack threads, I already told the full story in another one.

I’ve dealt with this. Thanks Matt for reminding me to fix my record player.
