you may insist, I asked the question to understand the point.
I would cut the pear in two (80k) because AV 8+ is very fragile. And fend is not dodge or block.
(Edit: and drunkard is a much more significant malus than animosity) |

I'd be interested in doing playtests, but I've never integrated a house roster into FUMBBL yet.
Is there a thread that explains the steps ? |

If I am correct, with a sacrifice of one armored ape we got 210k left, which is enough for 3 rerolls |
I just realized one particular point about your draft.
If you take gunner you have to take one more lineman (to have 12 players, because gunner is a secret weapon). It is probably best to wait until later to consider the gunner.
And have a game based on a monkey carrier to start at low TV.
1 Monkey Warrior (80k)
2 Armored Ape (100k)
2 Drunken Monks (170k)
1 Smuggled Caravan Guard (75k)
5 Rebel Lineman (250k)
3 Re-Roll

I'd recommend leaving some of these more unique thematic ideas as star players.
Remember in the Blood bowl universe war has gone and sport is played. So your aim is to capture the themes or the race as if they are playing sport and not have 1 for 1 warhammer fantasy units on the pitch. A good example is look at the High Elf roster and then read the background material for each positional. Using their old names. Lion Warrior, dragon warrior, pheonix warrior, in case you didn't know their names. |

Perhaps it would be wise for The Changeling to be a star player as well, rather than a positional.
I included him because he is in the roster of the Tzeentch team. But on second thought, the changeling skill seems to be very unique rather than a trait.
(As a star player he could take a form and then change it at half time) |

I hope to see soon the TWW3 DLC that will pit the Monkey King against the Changeling. It will shed new light on our brainstorming.
Did they totally revisit the Monkey King faction?
I admit that a team of pure monkeys (who are just simple animals), would inspire me much less. |

You can start off by creating your unique ruleset following this link --> 'https://fumbbl.com/p/ruleset'.
Once that is done, click the Rosters tab and select 'Custom' on the left panel menu. On the right, you should be able to see the 'Create a Roster' option.
Then head over to your home page and click the 'Create a Group' button.
Follow this page for more info --> 'https://fumbbl.com/help:Rulesets';
Down at the bottom it explains how to combine both. That will allow you to create your rosters and start playtesting. |

Inspired by Garion's Cathay BB2020 Roster (from Secret League)
What's new in Cathay Harmony:
- Foo Statue have No Hands and AG 5+
- Crane Runner become "Caravaneer Runner" and gain Hit and Run trait (+10k)
- Celestial Dragon Monk become "Harmony Monk" (no skill change)
New positional:
- Celestial Dragon Thrower
@Garion: for the play test I use your celestial dragon monk skin, but green (keep a shape of tiger head, I'm not familiar with pixel art to turn it into a dragon head)

Yeah no problem, icons are free to adjust for anyone, although the icons were created by cowhead not me. So recognition goes to him.
Also there are lore reasons why celestial dragon monks/guard were tiger pelts. In White Dwarf 280 tells a story of a Cathayan expedition to the Southlands , this makes reference to multiple dynasties, it also makes reference to an elite guard of the emperor that sport tiger pelts. |
