Kleftermann HLP: Season 22: 2nd place with 42 points Season 23: 4th place with 45 points Season 24: 12th place with 35 points Season 25: 4th place with 41 points Season 26: No completed sprint Season 27: 4th place with 41 points Season 28: No completed sprint Season 29: 1st place with 53 points Prizes: Fun facts: * The Contenders contended in the Crown of Sands Qualifiers, being booted out in the first round, losing two superstar players in the process! * Average Mediocrity is better. * Have managed to reach a Brawl final twice, but so far have been unable to win one. * Close to 150 matches, the Contenders are on the downlow; taking massive damage they have to run with loners and a mere two rostered blitzers. Lets pray we make it back up in time. * Nearing the elusive 300 club; the Contenders have adopted the so called 'maxmenz' method (copyright, B2k); playing with 16 players at ridiculous TV! * After game 225 - a team slaughter - we take stock of the amount of past Contenders. Twelve Ogres, thirteen Catchers, eight Throwers, twentyone Blitzers, and a 105 linemen either died on the pitch, or were deemed unworthy to keep playing. * In 6 games; from game 225 untill game 231 - the Contenders sank from 2190 to 1330 tv. Nobody ever said the prem was gonna be easy! * Made the semi-finals of the FUBAR cup. The contenders got decimated on pitch, and will not represent humanity in the finals. * Won the Human XFL! Remarkable games: Round 2 of Blackbox Brawl CLXXXV : Not a proud game: both our longrunning blitzers Frank and Harold receive a perm, and the Contenders win by shootout. The opposing Nurgle team fails to handle the ball for the entire lenght of the second half ánd overtime. Blackbox game versus Forestrangers Bloodvikes The team are at an all time TV high, and get stomped right back. Versus a small eleven player team, we suffer four deaths (one gets saved by the apo); two of these were self inflicted upon failing a dodge. Amongst the dead were a legendary and a superstar blitzer, for a total spp loss of 282.
