<p class="intro">When the team plane was sucked through a rip in the fabric of
time and space, the Carolina Panthers found themselves in a violent and
bloody new world. Much to their dismay, they'd also been transformed into
Orcs, Goblins, and in one extreme case, a Troll.
<p class="intro">Rather than piss and moan about their plight,
they donned their football gear, gathered some local orcs for fan
support, christened themselves the Scarolina Pan'Thors,
and set out to teach all these elves and fairies how real men play ball.
<p class="intro">They promptly went 1/2/9.
<p class="intro">Turns out elves don't wait around to get hit,
and game offers mostly came from teams with names like
CHAOZ Hillbilly ArseSMASHERZ, who knocked our intrepid
Pan'Thors all over the field. The Pan'Thors were horrified
to find out that even when lying prone in the mud, they were
still not safe from harm.
<p class="intro">Realizing that the Warhammer version of
football is quite different from what they'd been previously
accustomed to playing, they decided to focus more on
maiming the opposition, in the hopes that with fewer
dancing, prancing,and otherwise mincing players on the
pitch, that they'd somehow win a few.
<p class="intro">To date this has not helped. The coach now
sleeps with one eye open.
<p class="intro">In other news, several players managed
to find the orcish equivalent of love, and have sired
offspring to play for the team. This has been helpful,
as their fathers managed to die on the pitch.
