| Season 8 - OBBA N. North - 5th position Debut season for the Saints started well with wins against Bristle City and FC Warsaw Rodents, but subsequently only managed another 2 games which were close defeats by a single TD to Bury Fumbbl Club and BC San-Nuffle. The other 3 games (Bath City Bladuds, Zenit St. Smashburg and Wycombe Wampires) were unable to sync up and play. A disappointing debut season as we didn't get to play that many games. Season 8 League Cup - semi final Won against Bulgary stars II, Legendz United forfeited as was unable to play, Wycombe Wampires unable to sync a time to play and Wycombe went through to win the finals. The timezone issue causing great difficulties to play games for the Saints in their first season hopefully it will get better. Season 9 OBBA League One - Champions The Saints were promoted two divisions due to a reshuffle in the league and the initial target was mid table as at the start of the season with the Saints being the weakest team and 46TR away from cap. Won an entertaining game against a dangerous looking Glassjaw Strangers, with victory within grasp against West Bromwich Foulbion for 2-0 a double skull allowed Vampy to brillantly regain the ball and grab a last gasp equaliser. Its'lich Town had to forfeit as they had no internet connection, A convincing 2-0 defeat to Druchiioord as we were outplayed by a better team and coach on the day. Chelsea Blue forfeited, a victory over BC San-Nuffle that could well have been different had not Bradley Grayaxe Wright-Phillips lucky interception early in 2nd half on sure TD for BC San to level the game. The deciding 2-0 victory over Bath City Bladuds also had a hint of good fortune as failed GFI stopped an equaliser for Royston early in the 2nd half which had the Saints drawn would have given the tittle to Rijssiej's Druchiioord who probably deserved it more having completed all his 7 games while the Saints had to rely on 2 forfeited victories. Season 9 FA Cup - 1st round Lost a tight encounter with fellow dwarf team Sartosa Pirates BBC 1-0 as the rub on the green deserted us this game particularly through out 2nd half hehe but it was a lot fun as it was close all the way. Season 10 OBBA Championship - 4th The Saints had to forfeit their first game to West Brom Foulbion (human) as we were unable to sync up to play. We battled for a 1-1 draw against Aberdoom (cds) we had the handicaps of doom & gloom and smelling salts for the 36TR difference. It also see Marek Saganowski niggled on his 3rd skill roll. We edged out Bath City Bladuds (rotters) with a 1-0 win our hitting power was the difference really dealing 6 Cas to none. Marek Saganowski retired after the game. We drew 1-1 with Chaos team Burningham City, a game of halves the first by Burningham the 2nd by the Saints which also saw the death of Seb Larsson the claw/rsc beastman from a block and Chris Perry niggled. Rijssiel very sportingly played 2 games at the same time to accommodate our OBBA game which may be one of the reason i won 1-0 against Druchiioord (delf) we managed to turnover the ball and the first half and score the deciding goal. Lost 2-0 to Wolverhampton Wonderdead (necro), we outplayed much of this game by a better coach. Lost the ball early allowing Wolves to score and never recovered. Final game we managed to beat an already relegated BC San-Nuffle (H.elf) 1-0 and narrowly missing promotion by goal difference being on the same points as Wolves. Season 10 FA Cup - 1st round Had a chance to revenge being pipped to promotion when we drew Wolves in the cup. But again i was done by good movement and positioning to lose 2-1, a much tighter game than our league encounter. Again lost the ball early trying to throw it which cost me the game. Season 11 OBBA Championship - Champions The Saints pipped West Ham Unitedead only by a head to head win earlier in the season to nab the OBBA Championship league after both teams were level on 14 points. The season started well with a tight 1-0 victory over fellow dwarf team Sartosa Pirates BBC. They were brought crashing by Bath City Bladuds (Nurgle) losing 2-1, although they almost scraped a draw but the Saints runner failed GFI for the equaliser on T16. Brizzle City (Orcs) forfeited their game as the coach was on his honeymoon. Then our best performance of the season a 2-1 win against West Ham Unitedead (Necro) racing to a 2-0 lead before conceding a consolation late on. We were lucky to scrape a draw with basement boys Borussia Rottingbadback requiring a T16 GFI TD to grab the equaliser. We were outplayed and out positioned by Vicius all skelly Khemeri, Bulgary stars II. Granted some incredible dicing by the Bulgary coach but along with good positioning deserved the victory. Bulgary won promotion to the premier with this game. Final game a narrow 1-0 win against Chicago Bandages (Khems) was enough to seal the title. Season 11 FA Cup - 1st Round For the 3rd season in a row the Saints failed at the first hurdle. Out punched and kicked by James Probert's Burningham, with 7 players strength 4 and above the Saints were out muscled throughout the game losing 1-0. Bring on the Deathroller for the migration to FFB hehe. Season 12 OBBA Premier - Champions Finally made it to the premiership and started with a 1-1 draw with West Brom, but this was followed by 4 straight victory including a memorable 2-1 win over Real Sociedead where the Saints conceded an equaliser on T16 only to receive the ball and score in a single turn to win the match. There were wins also against bulgary stars II (2-0), Brizzle City (2-0), Arden Villa (3-0) A draw against the reigning champions Fulham Titans meant the Saints were crowned champions before their last game win against West Ham (2-0). Dream debut season at the premiership to win the crown and come out of the season largely unscathed with only Ryan Mailhelm Dickson with perm injury (-AV). Season 12 FA Cup - Semi Finals West Ham Unitedead forfeited the 1st round match, Won 3-2 really fun and close game that went in to extra time against Ratchester United FC, where the Saints loss David Ogrekiller Connolly (RIP) and Lloyd Honorsmither James St4 Blocker suffered a (Smashed Hip (-MA)). Lost 2-1 in extra time to Bristol Reavers where the Duke was unstoppable and scored both goals and Dean Mithril Hammond (Damaged Back (NI))was injured on the last turn. Season 13 - OBBA Premier - 3rd Began the season with a titanic 2-2 draw against Real Sociedead where there was 9 casulaties during the game where Lee Warbolt Barnard (Smashed Knee(NI)was retired). However the Saints then only managed 1 win against Bath City Bladuds (2-0, where Kelvin Elftracker Davis (Damaged Back (NI)) and drawing another 4 games all 1-1 against(West Brom, Bristol Reavers (Guly Axe Do Prado (Dead (RIP)), Watford Hornhits, Brizzle City)left them undefeated for the season and finishing 3rd behind Real Sociedead the runaway winner and the Reavers. Season 13 - FA Cup Rd1 Lost on coin toss to Anfield Anvil as they were unable to sync for game. Season 14 - OBBA Premier - 8th After 2 games (1 win, 1 draw) the Saints decided to finally retire the mighty roller Jack Cork as the team was giving away far to much inducements every game. However this decision back fired as the Saints only managed another 4 more points as the season spiraled to disappointment with 5 defeats (2 by forfeit)that left them 3rd from bottom and relegated to the Championship. The Saints previous high TV had left them with no money to replace several players that were forced or permanently retired. Ryan Mailhelm Dickson (Fractured Skull (-AV)- retired with 2x-AV, Rickie Lambert (Dead (RIP), Dean Mithril Hammond (Dead (RIP)), Jason Clubfighter Euell (Fractured Skull (-AV). Season 14 FA Cup Rd2 R1 forfeit by Khainebridge United, but KO on R2 by Nuts n' Bolts Season 15 OBBA Championship - Champions (4-1-0 plus forfeit win & draw) The Saints needed rebuilding following relegation as we were down to bare bone 11 players (8 blockers and 3 positional) and little money. With 1 game from the first 3 matches due to forfeits did not help to add to the numbers. However the Saints were able to grind out some wins against their promotion rivals Anfield Anvil, living-orcs-ton fc reborn and Nagashizzar Nobles to win the league by 3 points. The Saints we able to procure another 2 postional players without any perms this season to make the number to 13. Season 15 FA Cup 3rd Rd Bye for Rd1, a 2-0 win over living-orcs-ton fc reborn in Rd2 and KO by Nuts n Bolts of 2nd season in a row 2-1. Premiership, Season 16 - 7th (3-2-4, 1x forfeit win & loss) A relegation battle for the Saints this season as they struggled on their Prem return. The team was competitive and battled hard most of their games they lacked the strength, pace and guile to really hurt teams this season. The Saints only managed a 13 Cas (+5 ratio)the 3rd lowest in the league and 7 TDs the join lowest in the league. With Bradley Grayaxe Wright-Phillips (3 Cas) Billy Razor Sharp and Adam Rockflame Lallana (2 Cas each), Lee Grimfist Holmes (3 TDs) making Legend status and Kelvin Elftracker Davis (2 TDs). Only a surprising victory over Arden Villa (2-1) was the highlight of the season with defeats against both Nut & Bolts (0-1) the Prem champs, Beitar Jerusalem (forfeit), FC Kaiserslaughtering (1-2), Glassjaw Strangers (0-2) left the Saints needing only a win against Bristol Reavers to avoid relegation which they got only from a forfeit. Jason Clubfighter Euell was retired by a fireball the SF blocker of 58 games to the squad. Season 16 FA Cup - 3rd rd Victories over Ribbit Dribblers (2-0) and Bradford Slitty (3-1) in the first 2 rounds, but defeated by AC Fiorentina (1-2) Premiership, Season 17 - 6th It was be a bash fest this season with 9 rock team and the blood flowed and the Saints did not miss out as we lost Steven Stonebeard Davis and Jose Helmethead Fonte RIP and Dejan Warhammer Lovren perm (-av) to the cause. After a good start winning 2-1 against a weaken Watford Hornits 2-1 The Saints then found it hard against a run of games with clpomb opponents drawing 1-1 with Borussia Rottingbadback (5 cas) losing 4-0 Beitar (6 cas), lose 2-1 to Hooftizan Bullgrade (5 cas), lose 2-0 Arden Villa (5 cas - 2 self inflicted from GFI). Wins against Yeovil Casuals 2-1, Nuts & Bolt 2-0 and a last turn TD against Chalton 2-1 lifted the Saints to even championship outsider with 1 game to go. However defeat against FC Kaiserslaughtering 2-1 meant only a 6th place finish in the end. Top scorer Lee Grimfist Holmes 4, Gaston Killer Ramirez 3, Jason Smitter Puncheon and Kelvin Elftracker Davis 2 each. Top hitter Lloyd Honorsmither James 10 cas, Adam Rockflame Lallana 4, Dan Keyhand Harding 3 cas. |
