The undead lie restlessly. Cursed by sorcery, fate, or the wicked whims of a sadistic god, the deceased are destined to rise and again walk amongst the living. But there is one universal truth to this existence, an aspect of the very nature of what it is to be that is inviolable: breakfast is the most important meal of the day. And as the dead shuffle from their tombs and towards the breakfast-table, this truth becomes apparent. They hunger, both for the blood of the living, and the little toys you somtimes get in the chocolatey cereals. Their thirst for victory and fearsomeness on the battlefield is matched only by their lust for a healthy, well-balanced start to their days. And they race with a frantic energy for both loose passes, and the last of the marmalade in those expensive jars you buy from the farmers' market. Yes, the dead are indeed hungry, and woe betide any who gets between the Fastbreaks and their breakfast! |
