MORT'S MARINES

Tales of bravery, legendary waagghs, and "gud fightn'" are the only stories that travel fast across the orc tribes of the wasteland. Yet, what they have in speed they lose in accuracy. Minor skirmishes are retold as full on wars, pyrrhic victories are retold as one sided routs. The rise of blood bowl hasn't changed this fact.

A group of orcs watched as a team of pirates managed to dominate the blood bowl field in the final game of the series. The orcs in attendance were in awe, spreading the stories of the pirates across the wasteland after they returned home. A group of Big Un's, who had previously called themselves Mork's Mashers were inspired by the sawsh buckling tales of pirates on land.

Their leader, previously Petty warboss Glump, decided to emulate the bravado of the pirates, renamed his tribe Mork's Marines, tore down his tents to craft something that resembled a ship, and declared himself Admiral Black Shih, combining the name and ranks of several pirates into one. What Shih's crew lacked in seafairing skills they made up with the determination to push their "ship" to where ever they pleased.

They pushed their "ship" west, to the "sea" of the Blood Bowl fields, to "plunder" victory, and "pirate" the cup of the league.
