Match 1: Probably I should have frontloaded the roster and not went Troll/Apo. Good - I have become a scrub :/

Match 2: Played the Slann. The WHAT? And what does Very Long Legs do again?

Match 3: Got outbashed by humans first half and failed 50% of all GFI rolls and troll was stupid more often than not. Humans did some elven moves involving dodging and pickup in TZ nearly halting my drive. Thrower had to make a pass but fumbled. Then the last turn, Troll went pro with a GFI in a 2D-Blitz to clear the ball, then the Dirty Player managed 2 GFI, a pickup and a 5+ Longpass into the arms of the blitzer who actually caught the thing. Did I ever understand this game?

Match 4: Underworld? Wtf is that? And what does Animosity do? Anyhow.. pimped gobbos shouldn't be a problem, should they? For the first 10 turns, the ref did more damage to their numbers. Instead a run of lucky dice allowed me to score the equalizer at the end of the first half after they took the lead.

Match 5: Vampires. Those I know at least and so I eagerly awaited the dictum of the dice. Hmm.. FAME+2 for double the fans? What does that do again? Oh.. it gives me +2 on the pitch invasion roll, so we both take 3 stuns - wait what? I got a little nervous about the dice then and there, especially as the first turn yielded zero knockdowns. However, afterwards the Vampire team lost players rather quickly (mainly KO) and a snake on a GFI let me mop up the last resistance. I could have even scored, if I had remembered, that in order to pass, I need to select the pass action. So I ground the 1-0 on T8 with only 3 players remaining from T4 onward. I felt a little sorry for having to foul out the last vamp, but he kept making the ball unsafe and I could have that.

Match 6: Skaven. Familiar challenge. But wait?? Weeping Dagger on all Gutter Runner? What in Nuffle's name is that? Turns out my opponent didn't know either. Strange. Anyhow... managed to force an early TD. Sadly I played too risk averse against a AG5 ST3 gutter (how can such a creature live in Blackbox?) and the Skaven - never needing any reroll first half, managed to prevent the equalizer half one. Second half, Riot, Troll failing triple die block, Thrower the pickup. It looked dicey but then the KO/BH that were missing first half came rolling through.

Match 7: Dwarves. Annoying, but familiar. Wait.. Deathroller? Is this a tourney? Permanent positional? What? Oh dead... The game started OKish as I managed to 8 turn grind my drive. Then I had the dwarves on the ropes, but a string of great dice got them out and a string of poor dice put me in. Such is life.

Match 8: Khemri. Khemri? Mummies without Mighty Blow? And what does Decay do? Well.. they played the same as in LRB4. Actually - that's not true. No DP means there is very little threat, but their Guard Tomb Guardians were quite annoying.

Match 9: Rotters. Learned about the abundance of Disturbing presence, learned that Horns now don't require a movement of at least 1 square before the block. Had the lesson reinforced, that no matter what you do, if the dice are one sided enough you will lose.
