The Gypsies are a motley band of blood bowlers from the foggy and dangerous harbor town of Dark Water. The dark, dirty town is a haven for all kinds of miscreants. Anyone who can survive its streets for extended length of time is made of stern stuff, indeed! The veterans of this town are quick on their feet, fast with their fists, and always looking for the angle.... great traits for a blood bowl player!!! There is no shortage of those who want to try out for Dark Water's professional team. The fame and fortune far outweigh the danger. As many players would say, "I'd rather die out on some Blood Bowl stadium than in this dump!" The Gypsies approached a ranking of one of the 50 best human teams on FUMBBL, but then fell on tough times and have been struggling to hold the team together since. There has been a rotating roster of the Four Kings - the team's tough blitzers. Helping out is the ogre, Mang The Merciful. With the retirement of the legendary "Sweet Baby" Ray Jones, it will be a respectful contest between Ivan Ironfist and Steven Cougar for the team's M.V.P. |
