Originally known as Mountain Thunder, the finest Dwarf stripper troop in the northern World's Edge Mountains. Regular performers for Dwarf Queens and ladies throughout all the Dwarf realms, famous throughout the Empire, Tilea and Estonia. They are rumoured to have even brought a smile to the face of the Lady of Bretonnia. Invited at short notice to perform in Lothern at the court of the King of Eataine, the Mountain Thunder sailed over the seas, looking to break into the lucrative Elven market, the first Dwarf strippers ever to do so. What they didn't realise was that the invitation, to the wedding celebration of High Prince Supercilious DePomposity, was an elaborate insult by his rivals at court.

When the Thunder strutted out on stage, oiled up in their leather g-strings, with pounding music from Dwarf drums and trumpets, the horrified Elven nobility froze in utter amazement, unable to move. Goblets of exquisitely wrought glass, each worth a fortune and containing the finest vintage wines produced by Elvenkind, slipped from nerveless fingers and smashed. The Dwarves, led by Big Connel twerked, gyrated and thrust with all their considerable might, but try as they might, they just couldn't get the Elves to break a smile, let alone cheer and yell like all their other audiences. Every move they had, even their famous arse pyramid, didn't work. In desperation, Tormund Giantsbane leapt on the table in front of the bridal party, royalty of the most ancient bloodlines of Caledor, and went the full monty. The resulting uproar led to a riot as Elven guards and guests tried to arrest the oiled up, burly Dwarves, resulting in numerous fractures, abrasions, headbutts and at least one seduction behind the curtains (not all the Elf ladies were unimpressed it seemed).

Eventually subdued by three full troops of palace guards, the Dwarves were sent from Ulthuan in disgrace. Banned for life, the Mountain Thunder, shamed and humiliated beyond endurance, went to the Shrine of Grimnir on their return to the mountains and shaved their heads, dying their beards orange to atone for their sin, for their failure to entertain the crowd, no matter how unfairly they'd been set up. Rather than seek death in battle, the now-renamed Ginger Thunder vowed to earn back their honour by entertaining the crowds again, this time on the deadliest and most entrancing platform there is, the Blood Bowl Pitch. Strippers no more, but stripped to the waist and prepared to die for their lost honour, the Ginger Thunder are here to entertain you!
