Lots of nice games with good plays and my guys had all the chances in the world to show themselfes from their best side. And most of the time, they did. Injury wise, however, this was a horrible season 7 of 9 CAS against was SIs or worse, add to that a couple of failed aging rolls and some bad incomes meaning they are now not really prepared to go toe to toe with the opposition in F2. Being a little to picky about the games eqrley in the round and being unable to get a fair matchup for a last game the team ends up second. Having horrible luck during their last 3 games of round didnt help either, drawing 2 certain wins and loosing multiple players to untimley deaths and getting crippled by aging. Both <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=2089046">Fenris</a> and <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=2266764">Ice</a> will be missed and it will probably take some time before the team is up to strength, a full rooster and being able to replace their niggles...</i></td></tr><tr class="even"><td>55</td><td>F1</td><td>3rd</td><td>3/1/0</td><td>108</td><td><i>Lousy season, playing to few games and being really unlucky with the aging rolls AND reciving a staggering 3/5/2 CAS against in those 4 games. Team is down to fielding 9 players tops for their first game. However, even in the face of a unnamed, compulsive fouler, bad luck, horrible aging troubles and bad cash flow they still manage to stay undefeted for the past 2 seasons and with only 1 loss in their 18 games in the current drive in F1they have proved their worth...</i></td></tr><tr class="odd"><td>56</td><td>F1</td><td>10th</td><td>2/1/1</td><td>79</td><td><i>The rebuild is going slow as the focus is on the <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&group=195">FC4</a> and the rebuild of my maimed <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=79891">Deadland Devilz</a> before the finals. Even though the team is surviving fairley well on the pitch they get murdered of it. Aging and nigglers keep striking all our new replacement blitzers and this black hole of lost cash really hurts the team whi needs a second thrower and a second witch beforer replacing those niggled ST4 blitzers... </i></td></tr><tr class="even"><td>57</td><td>F1</td><td>2nd</td><td>5/2/1</td><td>192</td><td><i>The team was in a great position to win this season, all they needed was a draw against More Misery Different Dates in their final game. Howver, they really lucked out and lost the game after recieving two last turn TDs in both halfs were the opponent had neither RR nor easy scores, needing about 10 rolls and atleast a bundle of these on 3+ or worse. However, they made then and the Thorns failed their counterparts. Really big dissapointment since the team played rether well in most games apart from the last. Despite only being able to field their 2 st+ blitzers in a single of their 8 games and having both missing in 3 of those... We also see the replacement of <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=2162313">Spike</a>, a long time Blitzer for the Thorns who finally was retired due to aging injuries. And even though he has been injured for most of his career he has been a solid and reliable defensive player for the team then he has been on the field. Now he steps down into an early retirement though and hopefully, his replacements will be just as good...</i></td></tr><tr class="odd"><td>60</td><td>F1</td><td>9th</td><td>4/0/0</td><td>136</td><td><i>Being x-mus and all makes it hard to find games and even though I aint picky I only manages to get 4 ones. I started playing quite late in the round and as such had trouble finding opponents towards the end. Unfortunatley this meant that I ended up on 6 games and a not so glamourous 7th place. I was however, only 2 wins away from the titel. A feat that probably would have been rather easiley achived if i could just have found opponents to play... Anyway, it feels like the time for the Thorns wil come soon. Having a bundle of good games there they stay in front, keeps picking off the defence and score good helps alot but also having some really bad starts, being down 2-0 and then being able to wrestle their way beack into the game pulling of the win or securing the draw. This season also see the end defensive thrower <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=2448626">Maestro</a> and defensive lineman <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=2442531">Blade</a>. Both out with unfortunate niggles...
