| 2006-09-28: The team retires. That <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=1372885">last match</a> was too much to handle. Next match would be with 7 players, then 10 if I'm lucky. Don't feel strongly enough for the team to go through that. The Ajax Aggronauts are a new experiment for coach MadTias. As you have probably seen from his other teams, he like it best up at Legendary team level, developing super-star players and building teams as strong as possible. However, once all teams get to 250 TR or so, it becomes increasingly difficult to find balanced games. Enter the Ajax Aggronauts, the team with the purpose of being always playable. <b>This team will strive to keep TR below 200</b>. If TR gets too high, we will retire players to bring it down again. This demands that the Aggronauts enforce a ruthless hiring and firing discipline. The roster will never exceed 13 permanent players. Injured players will always be fired. Any player that hasn't got a stat increase or double skill by his 3rd roll will be fired. When we need to burn cash we will hire Zug. Let's see how it goes... |
