One evening, commiserating another loss by their favourite BB team and drunk on strong ale, as Dwarfs are want to be, a group of Dwarf Giant fans decided that they were every bit as likely to be a successful unit as the team that they had followed and supported as fans.
They signed up the next morning for a local game and arrived the next morning somewhere between the end of drunkenness and the beginning of a pounding hangover.
They got smashed.
That night, over more hard Dwarfen ale, their courage returned, their aches and bruises seemed farther away; less severe, and they bouyed one another to new heights of enthusiasm.

Thus the Rabble was born!

A team that plays hard, hits hard and drinks hard afterward.

Soren the Swift, the first member of The Rabble to score, was killed in a match against the forces of Chaos, scoring the TD in a 1-1 draw, only to be killed while moving through TZs trying to blitz the opposition ball-carrier. It was a sad day for the rabble, but the candle which burns the brightest burns quickly. RIP good friend!

Eoin Ironside once broke an Ogre's neck, as The Rabble asserted their strength, and Oren Orcsbane became the first of The Rabble to cause multiple CAS in a game.

Eventually Nuffle turned all his inexplicable rage against the poor Rabble. In a single game (0-2 loss) Young Burin was killed. Derron, Forin and Aloin Seriously Injured. A dark day they nearly spelt the end for the Rabble!

Derron the Trollslayer lived up to his name and slew a Troll, but it regenerated.

Theon was lost in his, and The Rabble's, 35th game to a foul by a dirty little skink. Clearly The Rabbles' greatest player in his day and one of the best of all-time.
Vale Theon. You will be missed.

Halen the Hurried is the first Rabble player to reach the status of star. 4 MVPs, 3 CAS, 7 passes and 7 TDs in only seventeen games.

Time for a few frothies. The beers are better down in the Southern Wastes anyway!
