The Nufflers are a Norse team who follow the old ways. To feast in the afterlife of Valhalla they must first distinguish themselves on the battlefield. And what could be more glorious than fighting on the Blood Bowl pitch, particularly when it carries the risk of dying without a weapon in one's hand and instead descending to the hell of Niflheim? They are an odd mix of heroes, fools, madmen, drunkards and berserkers... in fact their best players are probably all of those rolled into one! But who will feast with Odin and his valkyries in Valhalla, and who will forever haunt the underworld of Niflheim as a shade? Only those three old witches - the Norns who weave mens' fates - can tell. And of course a new god... Nuffle!
