WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There we are sailing round the Oceans looking for soft pickings heading further from our homeland shores as the intensity of pursuit increases. Seeking for lands in the depths of the south we came across various Islands rich in easy takings and so little resistance. We even gave some of the more robust natives a chance to retain some wealth by playing our special brand of Bloodbowl. Life was sooo good. Then some damn fool Wizard shows up and Teleports the ship and all crew plus recruits and sends us to this god forsaken place not even on the Sea! stuck in BLOODY Mountains, Mountains what good is a ship in Mountains. To make matters worse all the Bloodbowl teams here are a lot more experienced than the novices we had been playing. A Warship in Mountains Pffft As we play our matches and send scouts out to find the sea the season came to a close and with the bounty claimed a scout returns with news of the sea many leagues to the south. Portage starts and the ship is being hauled overland towards the sea once more. The weeks go by and every muscle is aching, How much further?..... BLAM that bloody wizard appears fires a bolt of light at the ship and group and we all wake up with a green canopy above us and our ship stuck in a huge tree... And so now we face the prospect of finding the sea again and getting the ship back to the ground. Cutting the vessel down and hauling it through the Forest proved a thankless task but did get the crew pulling together, instead of each other. Through the dense forest we went occasionally stopping for some R&R with indigenous races or other displaced wanderers generally on a sapling strewn bloodbowl pitch. These were better times of the grueling trip 500 ton of ship is hard to pull, at least the Ogre can help Damn Mino hurts more shipmates than helps. Awesome we see the clearing before us will the sea be just over the horizon? Be good to get out of these trees. and the ground looks pretty flat too ....... |
