Region: Border Princes Home Field: Black Crag Park Team Colours: Midnight Blue and Orange Border Prince Ball Hawks Border Princes play out of Khypris. The College relies heavily on Mercenaries due to heavy Orc and Goblin raiding. This has lead to them having a wide and varied roster to pick from. History The Border Princes are a loose collection of human city-states and fiefdoms to the south of the Black Mountains and Black Fire Pass, in the Old World. East of the Border Princes lies the World's Edge Mountains, west is Tilea and then Estalia, while north is The Empire and south is the Black Gulf and Barak Varr and then the Badlands. The Border Princes is a natural destiny for emigrating peasants and nobles, seeking a better life. Most of these colonists come from The Empire while others come from Tilea and Bretonnia. Many of them are political or religious refugees, but the region is also the natural destiny for deserters and/or criminals on the run from the law. Aldred Sorghoffer Born the son of a hot pie vendor, Sorghoffer spent much of his youth watching Blood Bowl from his fathers pie stand. Sorghoffer developed a love for the game and a dream to one day play for a professional team. Alas Sorghoffers dream was cut short as on the brink of signing for the Akendorf Griffins his father passed away and Sorghoffer was needed to look after his ill mother at his family's tiny homestead. Years passed and dreams became memories, but Sorghoffers passion for the game never wavered. With the sudden departure of the Border Princes College Coach, Sorghoffer has been called in by an old friend to help lead the team. Seasons Year 1 Winter - Pre Season Friendlies Carcassonne Unicorns 2-1 (Valanduil, W.Muffins) Victory Wissenland Boomsticks 3-0 (Z.Romano, Valanduil, W.Muffins) Victory OMU Manticores 2-0 (Z.Romano, Valanduil) Victory Spring - Eastland Regional Season I Wissenland Boomsticks 2-0 (Valanduil x2) Victory Averland Angelfish 2-1 (Valanduil x2) Victory Stirland Nightguards 0-3 Defeat Summer - College Cup I Daigaku Daimatsu Dragons 3-1 (Valanduil x2, Zachariah Romano) Victory Players of Note Year 1 Costantino Le Donne - Le Donne is the Ballhawks team Captain. Will often be seen giving rousing team talks before, during and after games. Outside of Blood Bowl Le Donne is an aspiring poet, although his work leaves a lot to be desired. Wiseman Muffins - Halfling youth, Wiseman is the undoubted star of the team, he's quick, he's small and will surely leave his mark in College FUMBBL history. Glegnar Stonesplitter - Dwarf Blocker, Stonesplitter is as hardy as his name suggests and is looking to make his name as the teams hard hitter. Valanduil - The Teams Elf is eager to show he has got what it takes, if only he can get out of Wisemans shadow. Drunarok - Big Guy, heart of gold, hands of granite. Will always have your back, as long as he can keep his head out of the clouds. (Retired through injury) Zachariah Romano - The mysterious Vampire Zachariah would be a boon to any team. He goes everywhere with his two Thralls, Pepijn and Carmelo. Marcos Solucio - Quick witted and sharp of mind are words not often spoken about Solucio. What he lacks in brain power he more than makes up for with his quick feet and quick hands. Toe Grut Rhul - Brought in as a replacement for Drunarok. An Ogre of a scholarly persuasion with a love for Blood Bowl. Said to be able to recite the full Oldheim Ogres squad list dating back to their beginning. Region Rivals Opponent run down Averland Angelfish - Treemen and Halflings and some excellent cuisine. Stirland Nightguards - Powerful Vampires lead this team and give the team a strong extra outlet for the ball. Wissenland Boomsticks - Chainsaws, Cannons and players crazy enough to attach springs to their shoes.
