Seasons Season 31 – Inaugural Season NonAQ Division 5/3/1 A lackluster start to the season rebounded into an impressive record, enough so that we qualified for a post season bowl match. Time and effort went into developing our rookie trio of Blitzers, which made us severe defensive threat, as we did not allow an opponent to score a touchdown in four consecutive matches. We received an invitation to the Wonderbra Wonder Bowl, facing the ITBA Tinkerers, in a match that highlighted this team’s youth and inexperience against seasoned teams. All in all, a respectable showing for the season, and we are poised to begin Season 32. Season 32 FBC Conference 6/2/1 Miami came hard out of the gate, racking up three straight victories before going on to finish the season with only a single loss to conference mate the Duke Blue-Green Devils. Though the loss to Duke would cost Miami the conference title, the #1 defense in the nation proved to be a favorite in the polls, as Miami was invited to a playoff spot for the Nation Championship. Miami overcame the heavily favorited U-Dub Elfskies and moved on to the big dance against the #1 offense, TCU Horned Rats. A hard fought match ensued, and both teams gave it all out on the pitch, but TCU left with the championship. Undaunted Miami returns to for Season 33 to right the wrongs of the prior seasons.
