Let's be honest, if it wasn't for us, this wouldn't be fun at all! |

LIER!!!
I give to the public a private conversation we had:
Code: |
<Captain1821> I bet dwarves will win the tournament.
<uber> I don't care!
<uber> All I care is to see that lowest form of life, gamenutter to cry and bleed!
<Captain1821> Man, I hope you are joking...
<uber> No I'm not! I will post this to the forum right now!

Well, thanks, I appreciate that. Its tough telling jests in forum posts. And if you don't like dwarves I think thats fine, though I think they run along the same lines as chaos, khemri and orcs. Though they have less ST than all three and less AG and MV. The only have tackle and AV, which tackle is a general skill and can be picked up by most. |

Game 2 in the books, and look, Csonti's orcs made it to the second round, completely unscathed. What are the odds? |

I hope to see Dreadclaw's Orcs and Fischerking's Woodelves in the final. Both coaches are great at what they do and represent two very interesting and different styles of play. |

Damn, I missed both games so far. I wish the coaches would announce their games, so the eager specs can be there. |

Well done to RandomOracle's Buffy Episodes and Csonti's Tough Enough is Rough Enough (both Orc teams), the first two to progress in the final stages.
RandomOracle proved himself the superior coach with a fine display against the odds; his opponent was a pretty average (and typical) Orc coach, in that he repeatedly overloaded his LoS and paid too little attention to the ball.
Csonti turned in an unspectacular but very Orcish 2-1 - my favourite move was when he deliberately made a Diving Tackle Gutter Runner go to ground with a Standfirm Blitzer; he didn't complete the move with a foul, though... |

I'm sure that he'll win the cup if he doesn't get shafted by the ref / distracted by the fouling mentality (oooh, that's shiny... gotta press F and move my DP into that player). Although in the case of Dreadclaw, even non-shiny objects might catch his undivided attention. |
Man... I cannot say how much I disagree... I don´t care who wins, as long as it´s a coach/team focussed on scoring. Playing teh ubabashers mindlessly pounding away teams not caring about the score is WAY to hip at the moment on fumbbl and it takes away the fun as you only have chaos and orcs as opponents. Hell, even the HE I played a game against were more interested in maximizing the blocks than in playing the ball.
So the very last thing I wanna see is a orc or chaos team to win the cup.
EDIT:
MrMojo, at least now I know how much you fear/hate me. |

I don't care who wins, as long as it's not me.
