yep Necron Destoryer Lord, probably from here http://nkelsch.planet3k.com/default.aspx
And yes if the tau and the necron on the first page of that got together they could have a nice band as they both look like they are playing guitars rather than holding shooting weapons that would rip the skin from your body... or maybe your body from your skin, depending how powerful the weapon is. |

It's a Necron Lord. Not a Destroyer. Destroyers have guns not spears. |

Stand Firm actually is nice on Saurus when you get doubles ... combine that with Break Tackle (and Block) and you can try and dodge him as much as you want without risking a turnover, as well as having an ok chance that it works . |

If you worry about High MA teams, then play a 4-3-4 defense with 2 sauri and a krox in the midfield.
Offense doesn't change vs High MA teams, just be prepared for the pass rush when/if you have trouble picking up the ball. |

Diving Tackle Skinks in the back of your defence set up can really but a wrench in an agility teams offence too. |

You might as well take dodge on that double then as:
a) You will succed more often with the dodge rolls
b) As a bonus it makes your saurus harder to knock down.
I'll rather go for guard, mighty blow or even shadowing as the third skill though... |

The reason why stand firm is better then dodge for big guys, suarus, black orks, and those types of players is simply that it combines well with guard and break tackle. Plus stand firm always works dodge gets negated by tackle. |

When facing fast ag teams your little guys become very important. You should aim to have a few Diving tackle, sidestep or shadowing skinks to patrol the backfield, use them in pairs to mark recievers. Try and avoid letting the reciever blitz his way out of the group, but thats a tough assignment. If im facing a very fast low str team, like skaven or woodies, i sometimes leave a saurus or two in the reserves. This can be very effective but dont do it early in the game cause your skinks will get crushed.
Playing an AG team, they will break through your line so dont bother puting all your saurus on the front line, they are too easy to tie up cause of their ag, instead keep them at about halfway to your td zone and spread out. Blitz at the ball carrier if you can get a good shot, if not blitz the primary reciever and use any free Saurus to hold em up. Pretty standard really. You know, i really thought i was being insightful... |

This is true, however when it isn't being negated by a tackler, dodge can be a lot more usefull. When that block dice comes up with the !pow, would you rather fall down in your own square, or not fall down? |
