Basic starting Chaos lore:
A) Get Rerolls, you'll need them
2) First beastman to get doubles should get Big Hand
E) With AG 3 all around, and a few rerolls, quick passes are an option
Fore!) Watch the WA traps if you have a Mino
%) Because of horns, Beastmen are just as good at blitzing as your Chaos Warriors, and can move farther.
VI) Depsite popular misconception, Chaos CAN win without decimating the other player's team. Keep this in mind to boost your populairity with coachs.
Seven) Soy Batman!
H) Mix up tactics (Sometimes in mid-drive) to confuse enemys, start with a cage, follow with a hard drive down the sideline, then send a single Chaos Warrior running with the ball in for the score... really, who's going to take the ball from him?
Nien) Never give up, never surrender.
10) Be prepared have game offers rejected from Amazons, Wood elves, Dark Elves, High Elves, Skaven, Pro Elves and the occasional Norse team. Oddly enough, Goblins and Halflings will play you since they're often quite suicidal in the first place.
||) Have fun |

Start at the beginning. Learn how to spell Chaos.
Seriously the best starting Chaos rosters feature 10 or 11 beastmen. High fan factor and lots of rerolls.
Important skills
1) Big Hand - on a beastman this is a great skill as it gives someone who can pick up the ball reliably. Even in a scrum.
2) Chaos Warriors need Block asap because otherwise they'll burn rerolls and not get any SPPs (unless you using them as ball carriers).
3) Beasties make great blitzers - but have to fill in all your roles (ball carrier, blitzer, dirty player, kicker) so try to develop the specialisations that fit.
4) Developing murder teams can be fun for you, but it is more interesting to win games rather than casualty counts. |

Chaos can be a hard team to get up and running because beastmen only start with horns........Good for Str blitz, bad for those skull/pows that have a nasty tendancy to turn up from time to time.....ADVISE : get block first skill, but when they get going they rock.
They make an amazing bashy team but that makes coach's very unpopular.
Using your team to retire other coach's teams sux. Don't do it. You will never get a game otherwise.
I run a nice Chaos team (that does hurt other teams) and what works for me is to crowd players in the middle of the field and try and box in one side(weaker side). Then blitz either with a BG or Chaos warrior down the sideline and hopefully score.
Always remember try and score.... it helps with both your ratings and with your popularity. I have retired two teams with my guys and have always felt bad about it.
I'm rubbish at linking my team into a thread so my team name is : MEN IN BLACK... take a look |

bah, - what i usuall do are all beastmen, 9 ff, a mino, and max rerolls. first skill, - give the minotaur piling on. then he'll quickly burn through players fast enough to get himself block in 2 games max. any money that you get should be spent on chaos warriors and such, - who can get block, but also you could try piling on instead. that helps them get some serious spps quickly. any doubles on these two classes should be razor claws, - which helps plow through players quickly.
Also, big hand imho is kinda a waste. instead get youself a +agi beastman, or sure hands instead. It doesn't matter what your team is composed of, at higher levels people simply won't play chaos teams because they have the word chaos in them. I've seen people refuse to play completely harmless chaos team without any piling ons, dirty players, claws, razor claws, and few tacklers just because the team had "too many chaos warriors." If you don't go for carnage, - go elf. |

As said, start with at least 3 RR and a high FF.
Get Block, Tackle and Guard all around, getting one or two Tackles fast, then loading up on Guards. Any and all doubles should go to FA, but Chaos Warriors can be helped by Claw - but then you'll get even fewser games. Cross your fingers and pray for a +AG beast, then get him Sure Hands - if you have plenty of RR you don't even need Sure Hands (once your players all have Block anyway), but it's still useful.
Chaos teams don't need a Big Guy. You're strong enough.
Get a Dirty Player. It's less harsh on your team development than loading your players with PO/RSC, and once a half you can target an opposing star and have a very good chance of taking him off the pitch. And even if you don't foul, you'll want him there as a PO deterrent. And if you get the ref, well, you are Chaos... |

Be a Slayer, or be a player.
Block, guard, tackle, Foul Appearance, ag, st, mv, stripball all good and pretty safeplayerskills for the player
Piling On, RSC, Claw, Mighty Blow(nothing wrong with the player using that ) all skills for the slayer
Up to you realy. But all agree and me too on LOT's of rr's |

I think its pretty much one or the other, mate. At higher levels, if you have even a couple of slayer types in your team, only two types of people will regularly play you: other slayers, and wreckers(people who play anyone, and just try to cause a few casualties before retiring their team and starting a new one). Other slayers will only play if they think they're better than you are, because their strategy is the same as yours: retire the opponent. Since it takes a while to build up a good slayer team, few slayers will play against another slayer team unless they're fairly sure they can win.
A 'nice' chaos team will get a few more chances to play, although you'll still be considered a slayer by many, just for playing chaos. |

I rarely have trouble with people refusing to play this Chaos team;

Of course, going with a play the ball, as opposed to kill everyone, Chaos Team is tough to begin with seeing as you have only Horns and one 4 str player and no ball playing skills... |

I don't know if I'd call a team with 6 str 4 players, 4 with block, and only big hands for ball handling skills a strictly play the ball kind of team. |

Listen to the Gerbil, his chaos team is legendary and has played tons of games besides. :p Nothing wrong with claw, rsc, po, mb, etc. Helps get rid of those +MA/sprint/sure feet things. But basically just make your team in a fashion that you can have fun with it. Hopefully your version of 'fun' includes killing, maiming and otherwise obliterating your opinions team.
Remember, it's okay to foul on turn 8 and delay TD's for the win. |
