http://fumbbl.com/help:Troubleshooting
I think the page above is rather random and hard to find something on. Topics like how to reload a game or what to do if an upload goes wrong aren't all that trivial though.
I'd like to see a re-structure of that one ... so far I think it'd make sense to re-order according to problem (Fumbbl/Java Bowl), but I have the feeling I am missing some.
Any suggestions on how to oder that?

It probably also would make sense to give that an a bit more prominent place on the front page of the Userguide ... there's some space at the end of the right column ... add a Troubelshooting category and then split of things from there?
[Addition:] I think it deserves a seperate section to stand out. If someone has a problem and clicks help it should be obvious where to look, quickly - a link at the end of "Fumbbl Info" (particularly if it is a JBB problem) isn't all that intuitive.
Does it fit to the headings on the right side, or should it be part of the stuff on the left, somehow?

i think it would be a good idea to put a "troubleshooting/Technical Problems/FAQ" (or something) section on the startpage of the userguide. Or at least a link to a collection of those articles. |
