First game in Div3 of Season three for the Lords of War and it was up against Gumbbeast Untied. With an under strength team and a niggle at the start of the game to leave them with 10 players vs 15 it was not looking good.
but with a little luck the young lords managed to come away with a solid win 3 - 2 and only conceded one cas which the apoth saved.

Black Crowes 2 Tenebrae 1 Div 3 http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=252989 Great fun (if you're a goat) and tough to take if you are a Dark Elf Player numbers were the telling difference. Good job and better luck to Chrode who played great with what he had. |

Madboyz of Mork Defeated Creepers 2-1
a hard fought game... a pitch invasion proved costly for the undead allowing the orcs to score in the first half. The creepers (with the help of Count Luther Von Drakenborg) managed to equalise in the last down. Pouring rain hit the second half and the madboyz and creepers saw a lot of fumbled ball. But once Drakenborg was laid to rest the madboyz found it easy to push the ball over the line and secure the win. UNfortunantly down an ogre and a black orc for their upcoming match against the anvils. This will be the third time those 2 teams have met... it's sure to be a ripsnorter |

The premier is underway, with a crushing victory of the chaingan over the scumbags. The Dark elf fans got right behind their team, baing a significant force at the kickoffs, and to any player pushed into the crowd. Despite a sponsorship deal, the scumbags still ended up 10k short of being able to complete their front line with a troll. |

Basically what BloodReaper said. Allthough It didn't start well for Tenebrae, it certainly did finish well. Hard fought slog between these 2 teams. With that Tenebrae with there 1st win for Div 3. |

The Scumbags met their season 1 rivals, Slumbering Skink, in a match where the Orc fans took a leaf out of the Chaingang book, with 2 pitch invasions. The 2nd KO's all remaining skinks, leaving the Scumbags with an easy defensive TD to level the scores. The skinks again went one up, before the orcs pulled of a huge 2 turn passing play to level the scores on the siren. The orcs finally hired a troll, Big Robot Bil, to finish off their front line. |

Div 3 RD 2 between the Black Crowes and Kano's Black Tide was a complete DISGRACE (from a goats point of view) the 'Tide took the match 2-0 in the pouring rain. A closer look at the match will show that the Crowes accepted a sponsorship from Bloodweiser and were most likely way too drunk to get anything right. Missed blocks, misssed assists, and most embaressing was a Mino who just stood in the middle of the field and beltched the whole game. A "Black" day indeed for the herd. Hopefully they can get it together for the Khermi in RD 3. |

The Champion's Cup, played between Season 2 SWL Champions Carlton United and Season 3 Svenska Ligan Champions Necrophilia United was last night played. A tight match that saw Necrophilia exerting their considerable physical presence over Carlton's hapless warriors, and could have gone to either team all the way to the final siren.
It ended 3-3. A decent result for both teams, with no pride lost.
The Champion's Cup remains unheld for now, but these two leagues (and perhaps more) are set to meet again next season. This time, the trophy will come to us! |

I-House 3 defeats Chaosium Ad Nauseum 2
Due to a shocking lack of ball skills by the defeated chaos dwarf team, the humans managed a very tight win. With the human I-House players acting like supercharged elves each time they came near the ball, the chaos dwarf team only succeeded in embarrassing themselves.
The CD team became complacent after a perfect start by Urgok (hobgob kicker) who placed the ball beside the LOS, allowed his team mates to clear the way and provide protection, collect the ball and dive home for a very fast and simple TD. Their complacency was shattered by a quick block, dashing sprint which resulted in a two turn TD reply by I-House.
The rest of the game went downhill, for despite their ability to remove I-House from the field, with numerous KO, one SI and three KILL results (one saved by hasty medical attention), the team never really worked out what to do and made a number of ridiculous errors, especially when a bull centaur (who will not be named for fear of retribution) forgot he was in range to thump the human catcher seconds before the game deciding TD.
The fans have given their verdict, with poor gate returns and a reduce FF following it is now up to the coach to whip and beat the recalcitrants who appear to have forgotten how to pick up and carry the ball!
A solid game by Chunk04 as coach, but one that was lost by one coach, rather than won by the other (huh?). |

The Black Crowes continue their slide down the ladder with yet ANOTHER game of missed chances and awful skills. The Lords of War played excellent Elffy ball to win handily 2-0. Read all about it here |

Another shocker from Carlton sees them getting ripped to bloody shreds by Slumbering Skink.
If I don't start winning matches again, I'm just gonna have to delete the comp! You hear that, Nuffle (or perhaps I should address the Southern Bloodbowl God, Affle?)? |
