Forgotten Realms style "Drow" elf Lineman.
Not 100% finished or really set to what i wanted but the best I could reach with regards to my current skill with Gimp... ( only started fooling around last night )
Also noticed the hair looks more like a Santa bobble hat ! LOL
Dunno if anyone can help me out but I cant seem to get certain colors even using the aquire color function on GIMP.
I keep trying to get a deep green or Dark Purple and get given a grey or sludge color.
Also anyone knowing how to "re-apply" the back ground once its been edited would be doing me a huge favor.
Ive already accidently edited a pic so it had a few abnormalities clinging to the edges or even worse its set on a white back ground when copy pasted. |

The color problems seems to be that your palette is 256 colors (for gif) or less, and it is full. Try to increase color depth to 16 million or so. I haven't used GIMP, but I had similar problems in Paint Shop Pro until I figured it out. |

You can change your apo pic to animated gif where all of those assistant coaches and staff is changing.
I think. |

Yeah, Kyyberi is right - if you've editted your gif, you've probably filled the palette, or (I do this sometimes) used the same colour as an actual colour, and a transparent background. That's one of the reasons 'transparent' colours are hideous magenta or something, when you view them.
Fixing depends on your application. What I usually do is reduce the colours in an image (freeing up a section of the palette), and then apply a new colour for the transparency, and set that colour AS the transparent colour.
Cool though, I like 'em. |
