I suspect that he missed where it came from, was going to retire, saw the option to use it, and went for it. |

So whats cleverer, use it when you need it, or wait forever with it? I did fine without and will do without, so i used it for a fluff-reason. Waiting is for sissies. |

At least he put it to use. I will likely safeguard my potion until the greed of having this precious treasure will turn me into some kind of little Gollum who wouldn't even waste it on a perfect legend. |

Hey, some of us don't have these b**** health potions at all!
Sometimes this site doesn't feel very newbie-friendly... |

The site is newbie friendly. Sometimes the oldtimers confuse not knowing better due to inexperience with not knowing better due to stupidity though.

The coach has played only 30 odd games, so I doubt very much he knows that the potion is a one off.
I guess all he saw was the option to heal next to one of his players, and presumed it was a regular use option.
I think when he finds out the rarity of the option he will feel bad enough, without a thread mocking him in font of the whole site.
Just an opinion of course. |

I'm rather new, just started here in time to earn one of those potions on the Birthday - Millionth Game deal. Read the help and announcements, etc about the healing potion. Ain't used it on no linerat, lineorc or lineidiot yet. Saving it for ... yeah, for when I can do a Gollum imitation over it. Actually, saving it for when I have a star player who needs it ... for a ... ummm ... ahhhh .... yeah. I'm savin' it for then. |
