Wouldn't it be great if [B] had it's own Championship taht counted only [B] games?
It would give coaches another reason to try to win games in [B]. As a side effect, it may even encourage coaches to focus on winning over team destruction (not that I want to get into that argument again).
Also, Championship is so well suited for [B]. In [B] you can't cherrypick or choose your games, so the Championship standings each month would fairly accurate. |

Isn`t it enought to hand the 'inexperienced coaches' an easy matchup, but do you have to hand them a 'noob of the month' price, too?

I would like to see it "Team Based" rather than "Coached Based". And you could give a "Best Team of the Month" to every race... would encourage people to be the Best Gobbo or Fling team! |

OK, now I am completely perplexed by your attitude.
After a quick look at your record I estimate that you have two defeats in your last thirty plus [B] games.
Shock horror!!!!
The two rookies that beat you have managed less that 10,000 games combined.
Is a 100% record the only record worth having? |

Did you ever think that Circ might want to make a point without having some kind of personal advantage in mind? |

sort of agree in principle but you'd have to get rid of the difficulty aspect obviously. especially the CR/BR bit... |

A championsship in a division where all games strive after being 50/50 is pointless. It's just random who happens to have a good streak.
If the bot didn't take BR into the calculations then sure, it would be great with a championsship. Now it would tell us nothing interesting. |

Judging by the quote he chose to post I figured that he would be up for a traditional Monday morning scrap

why?
Surely wins over high rated coaches should be worth more than wins over low rated coaches.
Without using difficulty it just comes down to how lucky you were in the draw. |

This has been my point for a while now.

Where is the proof that it strives for 50/50?
Where are all the high CR coaches with 50% or losing records? |
Ok,not 50-50.
But as long as the BR is in the forumula, the w/t/l record is not accurate.
The more the BR weights in the pairings, the less accurate the wtl record is.
The extreme of this is when the BR is calculated so that all games are 50%.... at that point, IF the math is right (we are talking in theory here) we would have all coaches, from very good to very poor, with an even record.
Anyway, as long as BR is in the formula, the wtl aspect of DivB is flawed.
This is not debatable. |

Well, if the BR is there in the calculations couldnt you measure it still on how high you can get your BR and still manage to keep over 50% win rate? So that would mean how much up can you keep on playing and still win 50% of your games? |
