Just thought I make a list more for myself what changes I'd like to see.
Not really advocating them, since I believe in small changes at a time but anyways...
Catch & Diving Catch

Pass & Strong Arm

old Strong Arm
add another layer on the pass-o-meter and make it do actually improve range for everything (stunties, bombs, long-bombs)
safe throw & Nerves of Steel

+1 on passes, +1 on catching an accurate pass for target player

No restriction with frenzeh
Fend
Defender decides whether attacker follows up or not
Piling On
Only works on armor rolls

Fouling no longer results in a game long ban, instead the player is put in the KO box and can enter the game again once the Ref thinks he has cooled down a little.
Shadowing
Shadowing works on equal ma roll.
Jump Up
no stand up roll for blocking

Thoughts:
The game would take a big shift towards passing. There need to be efficient mechanics in place to counteract it (like pass block).
Dodging is actually a bit harder (Tackle) but good ball play can compensate for it.
Bash remains mostly the same, except for the needed fixes. Bash is a good dynamic but it should not be dominant in addition to being a powerful metagame strategy. Bash teams should put a larger focus on counteracting ball play without losing the ability to produce actual carnage.
Fouling follows the route CRP has already started. Making it ever easier and easier and more rewarding to foul every turn without actually improving it. (Deep down we all want to foul all the time. It should be like blitzes;) Since sneaky gits players are longer present on the pitch, it also becomes more useful, therefor doesn't really need an additional fix |

I 100% agree with FA DP combining, and claw change, agree with bringing old strong arm back.
Jump up and shadowing changes I could take or leave .
The rest look pretty horrible. |

Pretty extreme! I think this kind of thinking is ok.
Currently there are a few god tier skills and the others are nowhere near close. |

i like the sound of the claw change, makes taking +av seem worthwhile for av9 guys.

To buff shadowing I would rather it preceeded the diving tackle choice so you had a nice combo. |

I don't like the rule change, but love the fluff reasoning. It doesn't sound artificial at all.

I'd like to see sure feet add a re-roll to leaps & TTM landings as well as GFI's.
It's never made sense to me why it doesn't. |

I like a lot of those changes but I don't think stunties should get access to general. Also, I think tackle should only negate dodge when blocking, not dodging away(we have DT for that).
I have always thought there should be more penalties for losing. We all know stars hate being on losing teams. To give more incentive to scoring and playing the ball, perhaps all stars (and above) leave the team on a 4+ if your team lost OR you can pay them to stay from your treasury. |

Extreme changes? Split Block and Dodge into two skills each and make it so you can't have both versions on the same player.
Bash: Don't get Knocked Down with Both Down when blocking.
Block: Don't get Knocked Down with Both Down when being blocked.
Dodge: Re-roll dodges.
Evade: Don't get KD on a pow/push.
Not sure how that would work with the turnover rules, maybe change that to skulls only on blocks. |

Yeah because leap working 8/9 or 35/36 whilst still having a RR available for the block etc would be fine.
