Yuck. Two 2-0 losses to humans last night.
Two big mistakes in this one
Tilt and bad dice in this one
It's interesting that in games over 120 TV I am 0/1/3, but 3/2/1 under 120 TV.
I got a double 5 on a Snot so I am thinking I take leader and get rid of my RR to get back in the sweetspot under 120TV. |

Leader is a good Snot choice I think
And in your defence, Dunenzed is one of the best Human coaches on the side so no shame in that loss |

I would take on the snot, it's the rowdiest choice. Drop the 2 skilled snots and re-hire and your on 1200tv i think |

10 games is a small sample for conclusions. The actual results depend a lot on the races and coaches you played, even if you kicked or received first. Take for example the current ogre leader, started 1/1/6 but has got the good results at higher Tv. Or check sprintARRs from other seasons. Ogres obviously get better with skills, po makes removing opponents easier, bt helps repositioning the team and threaten ball carriers and other importan players, RR helps executing the above with higher chance for success etc. i cant safely say that they get more 'competitive' as they grow TV wise, but they are more fun.
In any TV, the main principal is to exchange 20k players for 40k+ ones leaving you with the higher TV on the pitch |

I think the dream has died now lol. 3rd loss on the spin, ridiculous unluck.
I lost interest in the second half, maybe I could have salvaged something if I had tried my hardest all game but it really felt hopeless. |

It is hopeless you are playing brogres. You have done incredibly well to win a single game with them. |

I'm not convinced the 1 RR is enough for Ogres. In our game a second reroll would have made a difference.
Also, your tactical application of PO saw it being ignored more often than it was used - at least that's what it seemed from my point of view. You'd have been better served by BT or Guard.
But yeah, Ogre's are frustrating and luck plays a big part of their game. You might enjoy the rest of the sprint more if you just aim to have ridiculous fun rather than be so worried about making them competitive. |

I think now I would take SF on the brogres. Guard is fairly irrelevant, BT is very rarely used and PO, while fun, is usually only used sparingly.
I do try to have fun, hence the po and to be fair I've had fun in all but the last two games, I think it's just one of those bad patches that you get on fumbbl where the dice don't go your way so you play bad and then the dice seem to get worse.
I may have a break till the new year. |
