If you don't want to/can't send a baby-sitter back to it, it's a coin toss to reposition (or Block). With Pro, it's 75% to move, and with a baby-sitter that becomes 11/12 reliable, well over 90%, which is pretty good in BB terms.

While I advocate the reasoning, isn't it 62.5% to move without baby-sitter, 90.3% with one? Or are you supposing you RR the pro roll in case it fails? |

Without BS (heh), it's a 4+ roll, 50%. With BS, it's 2+, 5/6 or ~83%.
With Pro (or trying to use a Team RR), those become:
o w/o BS: a flat 50% to succeed, plus 50% to save the 50% fail = 75%.
o w/ BS: 5/6, plus 50% to save the 1/6 fail = 11/12, or ~92%.
If it was game-critical and you wanted to risk a Team RR, you could then try to improve those and hope to RR a failed Pro roll, but that would be 50% for the Loner x 50% for the Pro - a 25% chance to save that remaining fail %, which (I think) makes those 75% -> ~81% and 92% -> 94%. |

There used to be a bug were you could not RR a failed Pro roll, is it fixed? |

If you take Pro as the first doubles, you cannot count on a second double. By taking Pro you have put your big guy down the path of Killer/Blitzer type who will take Jugg at some point to compensate for the lack of Block.
If you go Block as the first double, you cannot count on a second double, then you go down the path of roadblock/Blocker type build with PileOn/StandFrim and guard.
If you roll the second double well now you have some choices. Because your choice will effect if you get lucky and roll a 3rd Double or +Stat. You want synergy with you previous picks instead of going all random and turning a Blitzer type guy into a Road Block guy and vice versa. |

This is why the pact roster in my humble view is totally whack.
The big guys should have gotten the Mutation access and the marauders, mutation on doubles only. |

I think you forgot that pro only works half of the time.
S1 + (F1 * p * S2), where S1 is chance for success on first really stupid roll, p is chance of success rolling the pro skill, S2 is chance of success on second really stupid roll and F1 is chance of fail on first really stupid roll
Pro without BS:
3/6 + (3/6 * 3/6 * 3/6) = 45/72 = 62.5%
Pro with BS:
5/6 + (1/6 * 1/2 * 5/6) = 65/72 ~= 90.3% |

Thanks, but since that ~IS~ the key definition of Pro, no, I didn't.
In my early-morning haze what I skipped was that if successful, Pro only lets you RR the RS roll - and that's the extra 50% I missed. |
