I'm currently trying out Windows 10, and found a setting that makes windows and text larger without changing the screen resolution. It even worked for the FFB client.
Howto:
Right click on desktop
Choose "Display Settings"
From here you can customize your display.
(if you have more than 1 monitor) Choose the monitor you want to customize.
Then use the feature: Change the size of text, apps and other items.
You can't shrink things, but you can make them larger.
Hope this helps those visual impaired like me. |

Isn't this about the same as the Magnifier which has been available in Ease of Access settings since at least Windows 7? Even if it is, it's a good thought; I never considered suggesting it previously when people discussed resizing. |

This is something different than the magnifier (which also exist in Windows 10)
As with any resizing, it isn't a crisp as the original.
I made 3 screenshot (notice the icons on the desktop remains the same size, while the FFB window and taskbar changes size):
Original size
125%
150%
(The game being played, was just a random pick on the gamefinder) |

I used a textsize function under ease of access in Windows 7, but it only changed the size of text. Could be I just missed the one you refer to. |

I'm referring to the text size setting under Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display in Win 7. There's three settings, Smaller (100%), Medium(125%) and Larger(150%). |

Yeah, on Linux, you can use one of the many magnifiers to get the same result. Just install Orca or something. |

Are people trying to play this down or just try to be confusing?
Man, this is just amazing. Very good news. This has been missing for a long time. Worth to get win 10 just for that.
If there is some way to do this in win7 please let me know. |

i think there is the same in windows 7. The issue is that it is limited to 150%.
And about those screenshots, i am sure the aim was not to start another topic about clawpomb ... |

Any way to do this without resizing other windows/icons etc. I like it but not worth it just for the java client. Would be neat to have the client be larger and that's it. |
